Writing things down - so many times this happens to me and it is true that it doesn't happen so much if I write things down with my own hand. Even typed doesn't do as well. Having forgotten a grocery list at home, sometimes I can remember items on the list by remembering what the page looked like as I wrote. I think that's a remarkable mental oddity.
Harriet - I hope you share about your new flowers and plans for them.
LadyM, I actually spent two more hours
I have purchased most of the impatiens I'll need, although I may still search the other nursery since I could only find 3 violet ones and have my doubts about the ones they had marked "salmon", since they sure do look awfully orange. Hmmm... .. that's really sort of important to me. I shall surely pout
Nancy, you have a very contented life without anyone else living there except puppy. I, too, like to think of you avoiding renters unless you yourself think of it, not in response to anyone else.
((Harmony)), I hear you on your thoughts on being lucky if family members are close by. Quite right. How is Mr. Harmony's bruising healing? I'm so sorry the computer troubles and breakage troubles are so difficult lately. Hope the password is remembered or discovered.
Meant to comment that my not-a-fitbit says that yesterday as I shopped in the hot sunshine at the nursery, very slowly ambling along but getting so hot and miserable, it was the equivalent of 30 minutes of intense exercise. Even my gardening today when I was doing so much didn't register that!
I saw a baby snake today and called HRH, but we're not positive of the type.
I had to pour boiling water on the same poisonous plant in the same spot in the bed I was so sure I killed it last year. Sigh.
