I don't know that the day has been especially memorable, except in a sad way...
Dmom's preacher's wife passed away today. I'm a little in shock, because she was doing much better two weeks ago. It is really going to be a huge loss for her family, of course, but also for their church. She was everything and more you would want in a help-meet for a pastor, and I really relied on her during those days that my dmom was in such bad shape during the Ativan days (years) after ddad passed away. She was just a special person. 70 years old.
Last year on Memorial Day, I awoke to the news that my dfriend had passed away.
And of course, Other Guy died in uniform, so there's that...

But today has been filled with
* dgd, who spent the night, awoke me early (after dh himself had a restless night) and left around 1:00 pm
* laundry... laundry...
* nap
* supper -- I cooked tilapia with peppers, onions, and rice. DGS and DGD came over and DGS pronounced it PERFECT.
* s/s kitchen (dgd helped with dishes)
* took dgrands home, talk with ds that leaves me somewhat anxious... yes, they are getting a pool... just a relatively inexpensive above-ground model to test it out and see if "we are pool people,' according to ds... no, dgs doesn't want to play fall baseball, even though it is not likely to conflict with College Town football... dh says, "Well, if he wants to play when he gets to junior high and they have try-outs, he had BETTER play..."
* talk to dmom

Tomorrow I have a teacher group meeting... followed by ironing and dgrands likely to be back for the evening.
I have promised dgrands a trip to the pool this week.
And I will want to attend the funeral with dmom.
Dh is counting on a movie night Thursday (Braves must not be playing).
And dgd will be back Friday night, dgs Saturday, both Sunday afternoon, and dgd has a softball party Sunday, which I will be taking her to. Plus church and piano lessons for dgs Sunday.

Elizabeth, I loved your description of the stress-book, too! I have a feeling your review is much better than the book itself! :lol:
Our family doctor has had Covid. When dh saw him Friday, he was talking about how the fatigue was hanging on, even after two weeks negative tests.
Must go... dh wants computer... smh...

Update — promised myself 5 minutes closet de-clutter. Ended up with 14 tops decluttered which definitely do not bring me joy! ;)

2nd update -- realized I did not type teacher group minutes before old computer died. :evil: Had to type those and print for tomorrow. Fortunately, they are very short.
Tomorrow is another day.
