7th & 8th hourly goal met.

** Package chicken breast into meal size portions and froze all but one. I like buying the rotisserie chicken breast at sam's but they put 4 breast in each container. The price is right ($3.98) but it is too much meat for a meal.
** Prepared & enjoyed my meal - chicken breast with roasted sweet potatoes.
** Push mowed with bagger until the battery died. I put that battery on the charger and installed freshly charged battery in the lawn mower. It is ready to go next time I use it.
** Rode with DS15 to pick up his boss zero-turn mower from dealership. Hopefully they got it repaired correctly this time.
While there the mechanic showed me a scorpion that had just bitten him while he was laying on floor to repair mower. I brought the dead scorpion home thinking I had another insect for DD12 project. Nope. DD12 informed me that scorpions aren't insects. They are arachnids. Ohs well. I tried.
** Made lacey eggs (fried cheese & eggs)

9 hours into my day and I'm losing steam. It is time for my daily DDrPepper.

I've been to knitting and came home to the kitchen still being the mess I left it in... sigh... I washed a couple of plates and put the leftover spaghetti on to reheat.

It's a long weekend here. I bought the apple pie for Thanksgiving. Dh wants it tonight. Fine. I don't really enjoy apple pie any way. Eat the whole dang thing... sheesh.

Thanks for the sympathy, Lucylee. I've been on and off the phone with dd and I am getting drained. (Speaking of LadyM's dead battery.) Now dh and I are sniping at each other, too.

I set the clock for 8 a.m. this morning instead of seven, because I'm gonna need to be up in the morning. Dh wants us to leave here between 9 and 9:30. We moved the bins of fall stuff back onto the shelves to get it off the garage floor. Since S next door will be coming over to dog sit, I need to tape down the electric cords on the porch for the lit up pumpkins.

Cathy, I forget it's a long weekend for you too.

Nancy, I always enjoy the planner talk even tho I only use one.

An iced coffee is my afternoon pick up, LadyM. Diet Dr. Pepper, huh? Haven't had one in years and years!

Thinking about RR getting used to the new meds. Take your time getting settled back in to the new "normal." It does take time.

Will you have fun at the wedding bw2? I hope so!

I pulled 5 weeds so I could try out my new rake.
Got quiet here suddenly the crew is done for 3 days on the pole building they are doing 1/2 block away.
Neighbor is done mowing.
I remember seeing a post by K in C that she was booked till the end of Oct.
I cooked meat up to freeze ahead, & made up sloppy joe sauce and it is jared up ready to freeze on of anyway.
Did kitchen duty.
Purged more planners and down to the three that I will keep as they are for now.
Picked up the papers I'd put on the floor at the desk was too full to hold them progress feels great.

(HUGS) for our village mothers and grandmothers worrying about daughters and other family members. We never quit worrying about our 'flock do we?

RRose, hoping you feel better soon and this med works wonders.

About insects: I wouldn't be able to pin one to a board. By the time I see one it is smashed and thrown out into the yard. I always wondered about the hobby of collecting beautiful butterflies and pinning them to wax. Such beautiful things losing their life to someone who wanted to collect one of every kind.

Lucylee, if you get ahold of some of those duck dynasty books, be sure to read the one from Si. He is sort of the crazy guy on the series, but there are reasons for that that made sense to me. I wonder how they portrayed him in the movie, or if they talked much about him at all. On the series, they did a remarriage ceremony and Miss Kay said he was mean but now he's kind. An understatement if I've ever heard one.

Had my study this morning. We had joined 2 classes together and we were a large group and it took a while to settle down. But our teacher did ok keeping us moving along. They double up when somebody has to be out. I did my chores after that, 3 stores this time and picked up a nice plump rotisserie chicken while I was out. It was 96° when I got home so know it was hotter than that and much hotter inside the car when it sat in the sun for a while. Which aggravated my rash something fierce. I have a whole new routine trying to treat that, per something I read on the net. 2 days in and so far it's not working either but I am trying. I am miserable.

Guess I will have to break down and call the dermatologist. Who wants to go to a dr. and stand nude in front of her and their nurse? Not me! But I guess I'll have to. :(

Praying all goes well, Harriet.

Harmony, it’s obvious that Si is the talkative one, LOL, but the movie makes him a really good guy, too.

Both dgrands and ddil ate supper here (takeout). Dgs had a good time but I think he’s glad to be home too.

And Twins, we’re snippy around here too. Another episode of I don’t hear my tone… he wishes he had a tape recorder… why do I always sound mad?
I was AGREEING with him — I honestly do NOT think I sounded mad then. (I’m pretty mad now though.)
I know he’s touchy bc he has a heart doctor’s appt this week, but I can’t help it.
Sigh.
