Re: Where are you Monday?
We had the easiest dinner tonight and DH was ecstatic about it, thought it was so good! I cooked for a few hours on low simmer 2 cans of sauerkraut with some apple in it and at the last half hour added a few pieces of pork and 1 slice of ham that were in the freezer already baked. We made baked potatoes and that was dinner. I know not everybody likes sauerkraut but it's basically a pro-biotic for the body and will right my system when its off. I thought about what might have caused my problems yesterday and couldn't think of anything except the bun I'd had 2 days earlier which had sesame seeds on it. Gee those little things caused that much trouble?! I'll have to remember that.
I was busy puttering around most of the day and never did get to sweeping the floor. It will be my first job tomorrow, hopefully.
Later this afternoon I laid down on top of my bed and pulled the afghan up on me. It was the most comfortable and relaxed I've felt in forever! Even when I go to bed at night I don't feel that relaxed. As for wearing a watch that tells me how my sleep is, so far I've felt I could never be bothered with one of those. I do have a step counter watch that I've never put together and tried out. Gift from somebody. Maybe someday... no use beating myself up every day over lack of steps when there's no way I can fit that into my day. I do know when I get up if I'm well rested...or if I'm forcing myself to get up because I have to and I'm still tired...and if that gets to be a pattern, I start thinking about how can I make that better. Know that's not scientific or accurate, but hey I'm still alive and breathing!
Thank you for update in J&C Harriet. You had quite the day. I've been to that airport (I think) and we had to drive in a rental unfamiliar car to the other end of town to a restaurant with no goo gle earth directions and only a printed out map quest. We did ok, didn't get lost at all, and if WE could do that, I'm certainly sure YOU can manage!
