Dinner wasn't burgers. Turns out we don't have any in the freezer. So ground beef was added to my grocery list.
While digging through the freezer looking for the burgers I found premade meals for dh and myself. I had the last of the ground beef soup I made while scrambling for a dinner one night and enjoyed it thoroughly. Dh enjoyed the ribs. And I did the cleanup so I could do my Tuesday kitchen chores as well.
We signed the lease for the cottage next year. Now I have yet another bill to pay.
And people got right to their new jobs from the residents' meeting yesterday so I have some things to get printed and posted.
Finally, my church volunteer work in personnel will be taking up a big chunk of the near future.
So I'm off to bed and will await word as to when those meetings start.
Monday, Get a Move On!

Harmony, yes, I will have to tell that story - funny but
Wow, Kathryn, you had a real surprise there - glad it was minimal damage for the neighbors.
blessed, it's nice to hear you telling about your dds and your dmother and dinner together.
dd still has until June before the wedding, but I know time flies so fast. There's a lot that would be nice to get done by then.
This mid-week is shaping up to be a hard week on me, frankly. A long appt Wed afternoon about financial stuff for which I don't feel prepared. Then the next day a morning eye appt that requires the long, difficult drive AND THEN we get a phone call tonight and hear that an old friend of HRH's wants to bring his wife over pretty much at the same time we could get home from that. No idea how long they will want to stay. This friend is really "company" to my mind. And for his wife to come is doubly so.
I did get to some sewing, but it's only in short bursts. I wish there could be a long stint of it, but, well ... .. see complaints above!

Harriet: I hope you can go to bed and get some rest. Last week was really something for you. You deserve a week off. Can you explain that to these 'guests'?
I'm still up because I just wrote a skippable rant in J&C. Now I'll go to bed far too late.
