Well... I'm just about to lose it myself now.
DH really feels awful... his legs are swelling, he has a lot of gas/indigestion, says his hands feel numb. OF COURSE, going to the ER is out of the question.
I just bought a parking pass for the game next weekend, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to download it to my phone. It keeps telling me I MUST USE A MOBILE DEVICE... while I am staring at my phone screen.

*)&@#^%**)&)*
But I don't have to have this till next Saturday. Surely I can call the ticket people or ds can figure this out when he gets home.
I promise y'all... I know I have been all about me me me lately, but I have never ever in my life had a week like this one.
If we have ever been through such a time, I have mercifully forgotten it. Like people say women forget the pain of childbirth. The Lord spared me that; I was under general anesthesia.
And of course, I am nervous as a cat about the prospect of driving myself and dgs up there on my own -- despite my assurances to dh that I can do it. I have done it by myself w/dmom on at least a couple of occasions, and I am telling myself that dgs will keep me awake and entertained. But it is NOT going to be an easy day.
DGS has just always said that he wanted to go to Vanderbilt for his first "away" game in football... and this is our chance... and dh is just beside himself aggravated that ds can't go/won't ask band leader to let him off. And I understand his position. If ds is a no-show, then the band leader has to find at least one other musician and possibly two, because other guy in our area probably won't go if ds doesn't go.
Musicians are an interesting breed. But dh also can't stand the thought of disappointing dgs. DGS was already disappointed that we couldn't go this weekend because of the car trouble. Four of us couldn't possible go in a single cab truck to College Town, but two of us can make it in that truck to Nashville.
I know it's a silly thing; no one's life is at stake... just a little boy's happiness and his granddaddy's wishes... but I could use some prayers for tge coming days.
