Kathryn, I would choose Mary Brown's hymn SO often for worship if I still had opportunities to choose. Both words and music written by women, btw - Carrie Parker the tune, I believe. It is often played more slowly and not as rousing as I personally believe either woman would choose for these lyrics. The hymn is actually downright defiant for women in worship - I'll go where you want me to go, do what you want me to do, say what you want me to say. Definitely not a toeing of the patriarchal line, but inarguable.
