And I said it would take a family emergency to get me out of the house…..
Well —
Duncle called my mom from his sister’s phone.
He was apparently at daunt’s house BUT he didn’t know where he was. Daunt was not home.
Now 2 of my cousins are looking for him bc by the time my mom and I got in touch with them, he had left and was no longer at daunt’s.
I just texted my cousin to see if I could do anything.
UPDATE— uncle is back home. Surely he will stay there.

So I'll get off to bed now, a bit later than I intended.
I got out to pick up my meds but they wanted $360 instead of the usual $90. Apparently there's a problem with the BlueCross computer system right now and no meds were going through at just my co-pay. So I left there empty handed.
I went up to another store to get ground beef but the sale item was not in stock. I didn't leave empty handed but I left without meat.
In the afternoon I did get the bedroom wing properly vacuumed and dusted, a load of laundry done, and the spare bedroom reset with dgs' bed remade. I also cleaned out the tub of bath toys. He's back on Tuesday so I left those hanging from the shower caddy but I have moved his towels to the laundry room for tomorrow's load of laundry.
I also made myself a dinner, just heating up stuff, and cleaned up the kitchen after. I ran the dishwasher in the afternoon but haven't unloaded it yet. I'll do that while my tea steeps tomorrow morning.
I also figured out how to get my new fan back into its box so it can be stored properly. I asked dh to do it when we brought it back from the cottage but, despite me telling him to read the assembly instructions to see if they could be reversed, he didn't bother and it was sticking out by 10" and so neither the top piece of packing cardboard nor the box itself were packing up correctly. It can now be put away in the storage locker and not get dusty.
So I guess I made progress, just not as much as I planned.

I went to the sewing room and played with fabric a bit, pressed the piece with pumpkins on it like one of those seasonal flag shapes or could go on a bulletin board I supposed. It is going to be hemmed, I might need to repress the sides, I changed the table cloth and the one vintage piece with cherries on it fits that table perfectly also needs hemmed or fringed. I moved some other pieces I'd already pressed and one works on the stool that used to be an office chair but the arms would not fit under any of the desks or work surfaces so I took the arms & back off and actually like using it that way. I put away some other fabrics in a container so as to not be over whelmed and I can use the ironing board again now. I brought the ribbon downstairs for when I do up more of the draw string bags or what ever I need it for.

CI:
[x] Find first College Town pics of dgd and put in frame to match dgs'
This has LITERALLY been written and re-written in my planner for the past SIX weeks. EVERY SUNDAY... write it down, OMM...
IT IS
DONE!!!
I also found one I think is earlier than the one that was framed of dgs, so I swapped that out. The first one I took out of the frame was kinda blurry anyway. These are now on display in the den and I am sooo glad I can mark that off the master list!
EDITING TWO HOURS LATER --
I have been working on my ZONE for this week -- memory book! I have printed a BUNCH of pages. I will keep this ready to work on in the den, and will do this while watching tv this week.
I sure hope I can keep this up. I have not exercised today, but other than that, I have really gotten a glimpse of the idea that I might be on the right track.
