Twins', I have thought of you today and am sure you will do great with it all tomorrow. No judgement, quite right.
It has been an ok day. I've been good and mostly sat myself down, lol. Put away dishes and made my own breakfast.
Three kids came over as we got home last evening, fussing over us, because there were delays through the whole time there. So, we ended up driving home way, way after dark and they worried, because, of course, that's not ideal for HRH. But it was fine. Ds, who only came over to drop off things ddil wanted me to have, was irritated and told his siblings to leave us alone, I wasn't their hostess. He was mostly right, but it was helpful to have dd44 privately while changing clothes. Dd26 had enough sense to stay out of it all, and let her cheery morning texts be the last. Tobias was not too appalled, because dstepson had fed him earlier in the afternoon.
I did nap today, two hours, I think. Dd27 called for a chat after work, and ds called to make sure I didn't need anything - really don't. Watching myself through the day for any signs of feeling weak without reason, or not thinking well, and there have been none. I was here at some hour this morning to handle Nancy's request to delete a post, that's about all. Highlight of the day was watching the latest Great British Baking Show with HRH. He baked some Pepper ridge Farm cherry turnovers, which is his way of giving me healthy food. (smile) He says that's healthy attitude food.

Sorry I didn’t check in earlier — some of y’all might have wondered if I was dead in a ditch after I told y’all about my rushing around this morning!
(More likely dead in the river, because this drive takes me across a long 2-lane hydroelectric power dam. I will NOT miss the drive, but I will miss the people I’ve gotten to know over these past 13 weeks.)
Well, I made it, with ddil’s help. She retrieved the fruit platter from my house, so I was able to stop a mile or two closer, at the church, and I had time to use the bathroom and speak to the family before the service began! Whew!
Afterwards, a bunch of us were managing the meal and clean up afterwards, and I enjoyed sitting and talking with some of the ladies I’ve always been a little intimidated by. I’m feeling more comfortable with some of them.
Hugs from a couple of former students who seemed genuinely glad to see me.
Saw an old classmate at the post office.
Home, and then ds wanted to go out and eat, so that took some more time, and by the time I got home again around 6:30, I had to take a nap.
I’m in bed now. Dermatologist tomorrow at 11:40. I may go see the Tom Hanks movie “Here” afterwards. It’s supposed to be a real tearjerker, but it looks good.
