Cathy, I agree with Twins'. No need to be productive to be with us. I am not extremely productive right now for several reasons, but reasons are not required and maybe another time I will be less productive and there will be no explanation at all. So, what. Did you see the funny between Nancy and lucylee yesterday about the same tee slept in turning out to be the tee you wear the next day? Or maybe it was vice-versa. That is good for a smile but makes a pretty poor subject for criticism. How can anyone dislike such a sensible, forward-thinking tee-shirt as that? That's enlightened. It's a Renaissance Tee.

LOL Harriet and then there is the before bed tee!
Sad note my fav one needs mending.
It's a 3/4 length raglan sleeve in diff. color think baseball shirt.
Mended that shirt but it definitely needs a replacement.

The sun came out. The pressure will be up then go down so fast it's going to be a record and looks like a hurricane in the Pacific Ocean.
Then in 2 apx. days another storm warmer from Ca. with rain comes in.
It's actually quite fascinating wondering how that could be used in home school.

Had lunch looked at weather forecast and that storm is not till morning in the wee hours
the big cite forecast 3 hrs. north of us did not say much about us we might be between storms and just get rain.
Did a bit of crochet while I watched that.

I am back inside with some coffee to warm up filled another can of leaves.
That did not take long at all.

Hi… I’ve just been busy or taking time to read a good book. Yesterday I went to class, then played boccie and later after lunch sat down to read. Got really involved with it and the day slipped away. I worked most of my life..25 years worth of teaching just so when I retired I could do this. I only had time to read when I was teaching was during the summer. I read way more than I watch tv.

This morning I did my routines, drank my coffee and was out of the house fully dressed including make-up and hair by 9. Sweetie needed a battery for his watch so I took him to our small farmers market because there is a guy there that changes batteries for watches.

While we waited to have that done we walked over to the dollar store because I needed some plastic bins. After we picked up his watch, we had to the gas station cause I was almost on empty. Brought Sweetie home, checked a few things out on my computer and then headed to my DAR luncheon.

Left there and head to the nail salon. Several of my nails are splitting vertically into my nail bed and nothing I used for nail repair including super glue with little luck. So now I am getting nail gel for my nails. When I was working I did have artificial nails but gave them up long ago. At least with these gel nails my fingers aren’t hurting any more.

We are due for big storms tomorrow and of course I have a doctors appointment abt 20 miles away that I can’t miss. I’ve had another aggressive spot come up on my right leg and I need it checked. I already know it’s not if I’ll need it removed but when. Know it will get biopsied tomorrow. Usually you have to wait until the results come back before I can set up a time to have it removed, but since I know this will need to be done, I’m hoping I can convince my dr to set that appointment for right after I come home from my NJ trip.

This one ain’t gonna be pretty. It’s the size of a pea, but very raised and is very painful. Not a good sign. Plus it’s on the my calf muscle. Ugh!!!

I remember buying my dd a "t-shirt material" set of bedsheets and she loved them. This was in the early 2000's IIRC.

I had a good nap. Got up and thought I had overslept. I need to get supper started at 4. We are having baked potatoes to go with pork chops that will be seared and then covered in mushroom gravy to simmer for an hour. That provides gravy for the baked potato if desired. I'm going to have the rest of the shredded cheese on my baked potato.

I think the fact that it is overcast and cold here made me sad and cranky. I cried yesterday and again this morning.

Turkey #1 is cooked and cooling. I have started the process of deboning but needed to stop and let it cool more. It took about 4 hours from start to finish. I'm looking at the clock and wondering whether to cook turkey #2 tonight or tomorrow morning. I'm leaning toward starting it early tomorrow and be done before dance class.

Hum....
I cooked soup for me today.
I cooked turkey for church family.
DH is eating from ready to eat stash.
I haven't cooked for the teens today. What to do? Decisions Decisions. I will grab some frozen processed food and put it into the air fryer. There are only 2 chicken fried steaks in the freezer and that won't be enough. I can cook chicken nuggets at the same time so there will be plenty for the teens to eat. The steaks and nuggets are both teen favorites. Problem solved.

quick hello - dd is showing mom how to put away are dishes -

I had to enjoy a moment:
MOm (as I was cutting 8 cups of carrots, 8 cuts of celery and 4 cups of onions): do you see you have onion, carrot and celery on your floor.
Me: yes I know - some fell as I was cutting - I will clean it up.
Mom: you should do that before you continue cutting any more - if it was me I would do that.
well okay, I guess you will do what you will do.

attitude changed and the next minute - she is happily singing- "What ever you do for the least of my people, that you do unto me" I had to smile. Amazing how something in a change of attitude and then joyful singing can make one feel so good.

AAAUAUGUGGHHHH!!!!

I finally started trying to troubleshoot why my printer has not been working the last three days.
Apparently it cannot connect either with the network, or the computer itself. It is supposed to be operating wirelessly, and it has been for a long while with no problems... and now, here we are.
It is an HP ENVY 6000e series, probably a little over a year old. I did not renew the warranty (of course  ) when it expired just a few days ago.

Sigh. Right now, I envy anyone who has a working printer.

Two loads of laundry through to folded for HRH, who needed to be sorted out. For one thing he has a dental appt Thursday a.m. After some spiffing in mud room, did the kitty potty chores and carried that to the trash for tomorrow. That's about as much of a consistent day's chores as I've done, finding a little more stamina.

He "made" soup tonight - not made, really, but well assembled with help from a can. I hadn't had much salt today so did splurge a little on that. Felt it would do me good. Warm, aromatic.

I am missing having a printer in my own office/sewing room like I used to have. It's inefficient to have to send anything to HRH and wait for printing.

I have not napped so may sleep well.
