Christmas Day was lovely even if we were a very small group - presents opened with lots of oooh's and ahhhh's - dd's had lots of comments about dd olders new hatch alarm clock, both of their cloths they got and special spray and perfume dd younger received.
d mom liked her Pecos Bill French comic book from the early 1950's - she said it was like the ones she read before coming here to the states and she loved the old west esp. Native American history and way of life. Dd older also got her a book with different stories (all in French including more Pecos bill where mom said "lève les mains" "put your hands up" , Johnny apple seed (pépin de pomme Johnny) and jessie James.
I am tired - I wish you all a very good night!

I’ve had a really quiet day but it’s just what I needed. Went over to see what Santa brought dgrands, talked to dmom, dcousin, and dbro on the phone.
Dgs is here now but like me, he’d still kinda be Nader the weather.
We will do Christmas with dmom Friday.
I slept in, and still have on, clothes from yesterday.
I was just exhausted last night and today.
Dreading tomorrow cause I will need to make appt for biopsy. But I’m not going to relax till it’s done… so… nothing to do but to do it.

So much excitement around here today that I am ready for down time.
Dd44 and her boys all came and we hung out in the yard. WonderBoy had found a box of HRH's old Magic The Gathering cards, old and yet mostly still in packages, under the eave near his bedroom. Somehow we're still finding things that were left over there in the rush to do our house-round-robin back when their family moved home. HRH was visibly shocked and beyond happy. And I was pretty happy, too, because dd had taken the last few eggs she had after all her baking and made me deviled eggs, lol.
Ds was a movie-maker and sent us the final version with a double image - what was playing on their tv screen and a hidden camera view of the children when they watched it this morning, not knowing it was their present. It was a Disney announcement with their names on the screen and the date in April when they are all going to go to DisneyWorld. They've been saving up 2 years for this. The children's mouths were just hanging open, heads tilted. I think dgdC cried.
We also had a stressful visit from some of HRH's extended family that lasted too long. Oh, well.
And I spent an hour (
) on the phone with a giddy dmotherinlaw. She has a boyfriend
and she is just beside herself with this situation. They have known each other 40 years, and he went to school with this and that old friend, etc., etc. I have no idea who all these names are, but they sound like a litany of old acquaintance to me, which is good. They have been seeing each other a few months. He has introduced her to his daughter for Christmas and told her he loves her.
Then this evening I went into a new side effect which is a long story (in H and F) but the comeuppance is cramps in hands and feet. I think I have it under control right now, but I'll need to stay on top of this.

(((Harriet))) My goodness! I hope this new development goes away soon!
How exciting for the kids to learn of the Disney trip via tv!

{{{Hugs to all who need it}}}
I've had a good day did more knitting this evening.
Got the dishes done up.
Got in the shower and my hair is mostly dry now.
Fog has been in and out today.
It's gone now.
ddoggo has retired for the day already.
I enjoyed some of the singing in Royal Albert hall saw the last of it
hoping it is on again as I'd like to see all of it.

I feel really dizzy. I admit I haven’t eaten a lot today. I’m nervous about scheduling the biopsy, having complications ‘and what it might show. I’m kinda having the nausea that comes with nervousness… and I just really don’t have any appetite, which started with this bronchial-sinus thing I’ve had for a few days. But it’s pretty serious — I have vertigo if I turn my head and I am walking like a drunk!
Sinus issues?
Hormone withdrawal? (I’m trying to wean myself off and per doctor’s orders, taking EOD right now.)
Whatever is going on, I feel weird.
