Dgd's birthday "observed" has been moved to Saturday Night so dh and I can go visit dd's godparents and see their son who is visiting for the holidays. Woot!
The living room is at 99% and since it never gets beyond that, I'm calling it done.
Laundry is folded and put away.
I need to drive up to drop off the tree storage bag now, then to the pub. I've had some veggies and hummus and more water to try and balance the greasy food that is coming. I'd really rather not go. I feel like I should be able to just avoid people right now, to avoid getting sick and missing out on our friends on the weekend. Plus, I'm pushing hard through this depression and deserve a break.

I have been spending some time this afternoon working on 3 drawers on the left side of the sink. The middle drawer has stuff like bandaids and polysporin, so it's a shared drawer. A box of 400 QTips takes up most of the top drawer and hand soaps take up most of the bottom drawer. It's a good thing that I don't wear any makeup... LOL!! I haven't worn mascara in years, but I'm having a hard time getting rid of the make up removal cream.
Other than that, I am reading a blog type post on Cruise Critic. The World Cruise leaves shortly and they are on this cruise every year. It ends in April I think. I don't think I'll ever cruise again, but I know some of the people that post in this particular thread.

Oy. I have had it. This website chick put in a call back to support and they called back. After a 50 minute call I had to get off the phone, in part because I couldn't stand her voice any longer. And the dog was making me crazy. Another two days possibly to get this approved for payouts to us. And it sounds like someone making a payment would have to compute the credit card fee themself and add it on, and I don't think people will read the fine print and do so.
So while I had a really productive day otherwise, this has me dragged down.
The soup is wonderful, but consistent with some of the comments, is too salty.
I have my list going for tomorrow - finish straightening for dcleaning lady, errands, and start invoicing.
Oh, and dtrainer has to push back his opening date a week. Although I don't enjoy working out, I am always happy when I'm done. So I'm disappointed, I was counting on a bit of a jump start on eating well by working out again.

The one hour of feet up watching a show didn't happen. I did get to do almost 30 minutes though.
DS16 called to let me know that he is okay.
Huh?
He didn't want to worry me when I heard the fire department responding to their fire.
DS16 and boss were working near each other in the pasture when the fire started. DS16 was using skid steer to load about 70 round bales onto trailer (5 at a time) and take them about 1/4 of a mile away and unload them. His boss was on tractor with brush hog around the round hay bales. I didn't ask questions while the fire was active, but I assume the brush hog caused the fire. ANYway, DS16 continues with his real-life skills education. Today's lesson is.....how quickly things can go wrong.
My last meal of the day is tuna salad with a BGS (big green salad).

I use Campbell soup in the can bean with bacon, with out the extra water it was pretty salty.
But very tasty. Look on amazon for a pic. or at your local store.
I have only made beans from scratch one time and it was a fail! LOL!
I have used pork n beans rinsed from a can rinsed in recipes too.
Or Nalley's chili. My mom never cooked beans when I was a kid b/c no one would eat em.
I did another round in the kitchen it is looking way better!
Did the dishes and put em away.

Back from dinner. It was good in some respects, bad in others. The pub is noisy and the organizers love the high-top table in the front window but we were a group of 13 people around tables pushed together that would usually seat 10. I was against the window which was cold. On the bright side, the group shot looks great because of the twinkle lights in the window.
Our neighbours are wonderful and really supportive of me and what I'm going through right now. So I left more hopeful than when I arrived.
We dropped of the tree storage bag and picked up milk so all errands were successful.
I might have a brownie and cup of tea now.

Still here.
Tasks completed — zero.
I just feel really depressed and edgy.
Medicine definitely helps but I think it contributes to the feeling that I just want to lie on the couch and sleep.
Dgs is with me tonight.
