Twins -- I did 3 things before I even read your post -- and I am feeling better now. Blessed, you are probably right that putting off the biopsy is adding to my anxiety. And AGAIN, my Bible reading for the day was about God giving us peace and we should not be anxious. I really had a "come to Jesus" moment where I knelt and prayed, and cried, and I have asked God to please just let them call me. But I will call them tomorrow if they do not. Tomorrow will be a full week since I saw the NP. (And BTW -- she's not a "kid" like I told DGS -- according to her bio on the website for the doctor's' page, she has adult children and grandchildren! I would NEVER have judged her age to be old enough to be a grandmother.

Anyway -- I do have some ta-da's now --
* showered, washed hair, shaved legs
* used facial mask (Merle Norman -- do any of you have Merle Norman shops in your towns? The lady who runs our local shop is probably at least 80 years old and she has been here my entire life; I remember going to her shop with my mom when I was pretty little. She was married (for a time) to my maternal granddad's first cousin.) I don't know what I'll do when she retires, but surely Merle Norman cosmetics are available online.)
* took off chipped nail polish (hands and feet) and put a fresh coat of clear polish on my fingers
* did Bible reading
* s/s bathtub, still need to do a more thorough s/s of both bathrooms that are in use
* talked to dmom on the phone (she is having trouble sleeping now, her meds don't seem to be doing the trick anymore)
* put away clothes that were hanging to dry in bedroom
* put another load of clothes in the washer, (load 1 of 5 -- I did not do all laundry last week) flipped to dryer, need to take them out to hang to dry now
* talked to DS -- see below, he doesn't want to go to visitation "unless you need me to go with you" No, I'll be fine and I can go to Wmart alone without having to make him or all his family go with me or take them back home.
I think that's all my accomplishments so far.

I need to talk to DS -- a lady who used to work for my in-laws, dfil's caregiver, actually, has lost her mother... and her dad died just a few weeks ago. I did not go to the father's visitation, so I think I really should go to the mother's. The mother was also one of dfil's caretaker. DS might go with me.
I also need to keep at it with laundry.
And WHB -- dusting is on my "plan" for the day
AND prepare my lesson for tomorrow night. Apparently people are just continuing to come and go, even though it is 27/feels like 17 here. If my newspaper came to my door, I don't believe I would do more than poke my nose outside. But I also need to go to Wmart. Sigh. I want to hibernate.

I wanted to do more but I did work. quick wave

CI / The guy said they could not install TV's so I still have the over sized one in the living room =( but the new system is in and I got a new router
b/c I could not remember p/w good news router was apx 10 yrs. old so that's a plus. The new system is in place and working. There is a learning
curve. I am confident that I can put the TV in like the old one and I did have the old one hooked up properly so I can look at the back of it if I need to.
I am processing all of this and will read over the instructions. Might wait until morning to tackle installing the new one. There is a learning curve to this system so I'll be learning that one the basement one mostly. Glad it has the music.

Now I'm happy to say I reclaimed the center of the stuff I did the stash and dash with from the other room, butterfly room is tolerable.
Some things like wicker baskets can go out in the shed. That I'll be letting go of.

Got 10K steps in today.
Vacuuming will wait until another day as well.
Hydrated.
Picked up after the ddoggo in the back yard, she did well in the crate I brought inside.

So sorry you all are dealing with such fridged temps & snow.
It's nice to have a break.
One thing the new system has record function I did not have before.
[Not gonna lie this was stressful.]

hi d Lucy - very powerful bible reading today! Maybe God is trying to give you the strength to call them. I have found when I have prayed for patience I will get opportunities to learn patience, when I pray for guidance then I am given opportunities to listen to guidance. (same with fear). I found it gives me the opportunity to get better at what I fear or worry about. ((((sweet Lucy))))

hello all.

feeling a bit tired but I do have dinner ready to put in the oven!

Phew two hrs later in sponge Bob voice.
Tv's have been swapped out, over size one was heavy so got out the furniture dolly x2 a challenge but got it into the spare room for now.
Not even going to try any more with it now.
New one is in place got the "feet" on it got it hooked up and on line ---
hit a snag when I tried to line it up the remotes are diff. with the cable boxes I think.
Watching basic cable now. Learning curve ahead.
Trying to remember how I was able to do that with the other one.
With the new router I'm getting better reception.
12K steps today.

Now for some low tech. knitting LOL!

* Final load of laundry is in the washer, one load is on the couch beside me, waiting for me to fold it. (Towels & underwear) The load in the washer is the same but it won't be finished and dried for a pretty good while -- so it may get folded tomorrow. I went ahead and dried that load and will get it folded and put away.
* S/S both bathrooms
[ ] I have dusted nothing.
[ ] I have not prepared my lesson for tomorrow night. I also have definite plans to do this before I sleep. It's "only" 1:12 a.m. now.

Oh, BTW, when I said people apparently continue to come and go, I did not mean people are coming and going at my house, LOL -- no one has been here -- but there was a pretty good crowd at the funeral home, and several people in the grocery store (I decided against Wmart) and there were several in line when I stopped for BBQ on the way home.

Nancy, unfortunately, it seems there is a big learning curve with every electronic thing that is purchased these days. I still am not sure how to operate everything on the giant TV in the bedroom -- it's a Roku -- and I'm not sure how I get to some of the channels. I don't stream anything at all -- but there are a lot of free Roku channels. I mostly just watch the satellite channels like I always have.
Good for you on getting yours moved! Mine is mounted on the wall and DS and his father-in-law will have to come take care of it when it has to be replaced!

Hmmm... I'm at 5844 steps today... that's an improvement over most of the last week. I'll get a few more in before midnight. Might even do my 15 min walk away the pounds routine. I did it last night after 1:00 a.m.

Yes, blessed, I am certain God IS trying to increase my faith. Surprisingly, when I took an online quiz about "gifts of the spirit," FAITH was my highest score. I find that hard to reconcile with the way I act about every little thing. OTOH... I do pray about everything and I do believe all things will work for good, in God's purpose. (I don't think everything IS good -- dh's death was NOT good -- but God may have worked through that experience to reach someone that I don't even know about. And of course, it brought an end to the excruciating pain dh experienced so often. I wouldn't want dh to be in pain again, if I could bring him back today, but oh my goodness... I wish he were here and pain free. That's another thing that makes the biopsy so hard... just thinking about having to go through that without him here. Maybe I am going through all this so He can teach me I really AM stronger than I realize.

This Southern snow IS amazing, isn't it? Mobile has more snow than we got last week! I don't envy them though... it's too much trouble for people who have to get out on the roads. Here in the South, we just pretty well shut down for a few days when the roads are covered. It was kinda neat to see the picture of people on their skis on Bourbon Street in New Orleans.

Rose, you made me curious so I checked my weather app -- it's 43 degrees where dbro lives in FL! He'll be back to 60s-70s this weekend. Here for me, it's 18/feels like 7.

I won't have to get out of the house till around noon tomorrow, when it should be approaching 31-32. Such a heat wave. LOL.
I am planning to go to another funeral visitation -- the mother of one of dh's players. Of course I can't go to ALL the events for ALL of his players, and wouldn't want to -- but this guy was kinda special, one of his QBs, and dh was special to him. He came to dh's visitation and has stopped me in Wmart since to share memories. He's only a few years younger than me; remember, I was still in college the first two years dh was head coach. Besides that, this lady worked at one of the funeral homes in town, so I have known her for a long time. She was working there when my dinlaws' died, and we used that funeral home.

I also have a question I need to ask in MO. Kinda taking a survey... It's a question of etiquette. May be a Southern thing, may be a "I'm turning into my grandmother thing."

Forgive me for not making more personal replies. Despite my finally getting myself moving today, it has been a hard day. Someone asked about dh at the funeral home, (how long since he died), and that almost set me off.
