Blessed the original one was in the happiness file about raising future citizens.
-----
I have been in my office purging old planners putting in new notes pages to refresh then and use them for note books,
daily lists, bujo style, and other writings.
Now I have a stack of pages that need white out to re-date or use other wise diff years or what ever
strikes my fancy!

Had dinner.
Feels like Fri. to me.

EOD analysis = A neutral day

I found myself feeling overwhelmed and snippety repeatedly today by what others needed. Each time I took a mental moment to ask myself "Will this matter in 5 years?" That question helps me put things into perspective and adjust my emotions. There is a reason I wear Be Kind shirts. I need that daily reminder! Especially on days like today.

Best thing today - outing with DH. I walked the aisle of garden center while he got a hair cut.

Worst thing today = the new grill arrive but the leg parts are defective. I made a return/refund request after spending a couple hours unsuccessfully trying to assemble it.
My state is ranked #1 in flu outbreak. Next town from us just announced they are closing school the rest of this week due to so many being sick.

Sweet dreams to all

I am not believing this!!! Twice I have lost a LONG post on that Chromebook.
Once, user-error...
Second time -- when I hit submit, it said 404 Error or something like that. I tried to save it in the Google Docs, but now I cannot find it.
Computer acting up... wow... IKWYM, Twins. I've already reset the modem. Last Friday, dgd was at her wits' end with my slow internet. I may have to give up and get the new, more expensive "flash fiber" our electric company is offering.

Oh well.
Y'all don't have to know how we do Homecoming here -- much like Mystery said -- and it's a big deal, lots of fun for the kids and lots of chaos for the teachers.
Other thoughts...
Alabama is in the top ten flu states but my area isn't noted in the top ten cities.

Did you see, LadyM, where I had about three emotions to post on the EOD last night? I don't know if I can use that wheel or not, LOL.
Glad to hear about ds getting help from the military man. He'll have ds looking SHARP!
I wish I had seen Other Guy in his uniform... My 15-yr-old heart probably couldn't have stood it. I generally saw him in blue jeans and an untucked shirt. And he had a military funeral, but closed casket. Y'all didn't have to know that, either.

Nancy -- so glad to see you got rid of the tv! WTG! A big tv is a very awkward thing to handle. I had trouble with just the box and the smaller tv I had to discard last winter.

Blessed, I sure hope if my dmom has this foot surgery, that I will be able to handle helping her with as much grace and patience as you do with your dmom. You are a big inspiration to me!

Well, I thought I could blame dh for my laziness... but no... it seems that I am just as lazy left to my own devices. Harriet said I was being productive -- taking daunt to funeral, taking dmom to doctor... but apparently, if I have two days out of the house, I have to have two days to recover.
And NEXT Monday, guess what time I have to have dmom at Next Town hospital for the vascular test? 6:45. That's a.m. 6:45 a.m. I bet the sun's not even up when I will have to leave. I may have to take all week to recover from that!

Let's see if I can post this one.
