Posting here to maintain daily accountability.
I weigh daily for the same reason.
I log food into Cronometer for the same reason.
My biggest failure will come if I give up and stop holding myself accountable.

My pedometer isn’t working, but I know I was quite busy outside yesterday.

My food is off because nothing looks good to me to eat. Yesterday I ate a small salad with chicken… made myself eat it. And a couple of wasa crackers. Two tablespoons of PB on a spoon and that’s all.

My stomach is doing great, I’ve just lost my appetite. It worried about it at the moment.

DH birthday weekend celebration was a success. We ate out twice and all the meals at home were centered around
DH favorite foods and sweets. I don't regret celebrating DH.

It was fun & I have no regrets, but now I am ready to look at the numbers and do a little analyzing. I ate 1549 and 1569 calories during the weekend. That is about 400 calories a day too much for my body. How long will it take me to drop the two pounds I added this weekend? I will try to stick around 1000 calories for a few days and see if the birthday celebrating weight will disappear.

Takeaway - Don't miss the treasured moments. Enjoy them and realize sharing those moments with others is priceless and worth a bump in the road of weight loss progress. But after the celebration is over then it is time to get back on track.

LadyM. I agree with everything you said!

Started my diet bet today. My weight is not where I want it to be, but my clothes are fitting better. I attribute that to all the exercising I’m doing. Really need on drinking my water.

I am back on track and feeling strong about the boundaries I have chosen. The scales showed a 1.8 lb loss this morning which gives a clue that I am on the right track to reversing the birthday celebration weight gain.

Last week my average daily steps were 5263 which means the steps increased over a thousand from the previous week. I would like to increase it another thousand steps this week. I have a "Line in the sand" boundary to maintain that 5K step count at the very least.

Another day of staying within my chosen boundaries and another day of the scales responding the way I like to see.

I went looking for real food ideas of things to eat so I don't get into a rut. I do get ideas from looking at real food for weight loss meal suggestion. and an more suggestions of bigger meals I follow their FBook group and have done mentorship twice to support the founder. She puts a lot of effort into developing meals that promote health while losing weight. Although I find many good ideas with their food suggestions, my body doesn't agree with them all, but I get to pick and choose what works for me. They use these macro suggestions -
Calories: 800-1000
Carbs: 90g or less
Fat: 10-30 or less
Protein: 70g or more
