SHEs Organized

I was able to get a half of a small bucket of white rocks at the corner some one had dumped out.
Washed them up when I got em home.
They will be good for painting.

I was surprised that I had so many buckets nested together in the plant cage.
Got them out to wash up when I get the hoses on next week maybe.
I found some fun planters too smaller in fun colors.
I'll be deciding on those as I clean them up and wash em.

Might be nice for potted plants but mine do better in the ground.
We were up to 60* today I think our warmest day so far.

Y'all will be surprised. How am I spending my (23-hour) Saturday night alone (without a dgrand underfoot)?

I did nap a long while -- mostly missed our rivalry basketball game on tv, but woke up in time to see that Other Team in our state beat us at the buzzer of Overtime. Shaking my head... Oh well, can't win 'em all.

Talked to dh's cousin, to find out how other cousin's wife is doing. She went to the hospital in next town, via ambulance last night. Probably 84-85 years old and has been suffering with COPD and some heart trouble, I believe, and she has been having a lot of fluid build-up, and is very weak.
This was a 2-hr conversation, during which I ate my supper. (frozen lasagna from the microwave).

BUT -- the big surprise is -- I have vacuumed the main areas of the house, except kitchen/laundry, and master bedroom. MOST of the construction dust is gone, but I still need to do some serious cleaning in the bathroom. I also did not even go into the study -- they carpenters did a really good job of vacuuming the floor, but I did notice a little bit of dust/ceiling debris/whatever. So I will need to get in there and do some zone cleaning -- but of course, the whole house needs zone cleaning. With the Christmas tree put away, and a good report from the biopsy, I finally feel like I can start a new year.

It's still a somewhat depressing new year -- I'm not really ready to accept the fact that my life has changed and I am starting a new year without dh.
I still feel like there's not a lot of my life to look forward to, except dgrands' activities and milestones -- I don't feel ready to plan anything or do anything for myself... but I do feel somewhat content? I don't know what I feel. But I'm glad the tree is put away, and I'm glad the floor and ceiling are repaired.

And again, if y'all didn't see my earlier post today, no trees were harmed (in my view, anyway) during the crazy winds we had recently. DGD was just being dramatic. I think some people in this area of the state did have damage, but nothing for me or my family/friends. We just kept going in and out of the house saying, "This wind is CRAZY." LOL.
