hi all - I am thinking of all of you!!! I am excited to see d helia and other d friends join the group!!! how exciting - thank you d Kathryn and D harriet for setting that up!

dh news - they put dh on his old trac again - the good - he is alive! His throat is swollen and failed the swallow test. again He is alive. They are thinking that he aspirated food/drink. He says he feels better and is okay with having the old trac - temporarily. He is smiling again.

I am going to take it easy this evening.

I was in a real conga line today. Our main intersection in our tiny town has been closed for 2 weeks for some badly needed work on putting new water and sewage pipes under the road. Therefore traffic has been rerouted through some back streets. When I left knitting this afternoon, there was a long line of vehicles going east towards where our house is. I had no choice other than to get in line to get through town to get home. In reality, it was only a minute or two to get from the store where knitting is, to the road I needed to be on. Construction is scheduled to be finished at some point tomorrow. All they have left to do is move the pilons and all the signs and they will need to totally repave at some point later when it gets warmer. It's a big mess of patched pavement here, there and everywhere right now.

LadyM I have been watching this eagle nest for 3 years now. This year they had 3 eaglets that hatched. Unfortunately only 2 eaglets were seen this morning.

re: therapy I listen to therapy in a nut shell and that seems to be a good one.
I got questions on the topic I was doing and journaled.
Once my pastor / counselor said to circle the words that were feelings in my journal for the week before.
I did a lot of emotional work this morning and 4 pages of journal on driving or rather not being allowed to
till after the rest of my peers could. [Both of my grans were non drivers.]

I've had dinner.
Dishes are awaiting was going to do em in the morning but I will add Epsom salts to soak my hands it helps.
Did up the dishes spiffed up the counters too.

Ddoggo is happy after a break and no wind today yea.

Worked on a yarn crafting project.
Glad for the things I did this morning.

We had a shallow well when I was a teen that would run out in summer if it was a dry year and
would fill up again enough to use in a few hours and overnight would be back to normal a spring under the furnace room
fed it.

I got most of the decorations sorted and packed up for the surprise party on Sunday.

I opened up and prepped to be used our gift for dgs4 (or at least he'll be 4 on Monday). It is a popcorn popper. He absolutely loves popcorn and making it with mine so I bought him the same model (except it is updated a bit) for his birthday. I bought a toy as well, but I suspect he'll love the popcorn popper more!

Dgd6 came over and we baked a double chocolate cheesecake pie. It has to chill after baking so I'll take her some tomorrow to have after dgs4's birthday party. Really I should bring it on Sunday to her mother's surprise party so it can be shared among more than she and I, but she doesn't know about that party.

I also did her nails.

I cleaned up the kitchen and ran the dishwasher after so that is back to rights. I still haven't put away the things we played with after doing the baking.

I talked with my sister for just 45 minutes today.

Dh and I walked over to the pizza place for dinner.

I should be blowing up balloons for Sunday. I only have 30 minutes to set up and decorate the hall, so I figure I'll blow up the balloons before Sunday to buy myself some time. I also have to set up a decoration plan so I can delegate to others. At least someone else will be in charge of putting out the food, although I'm in charge of bringing serving plates and utensils (and I haven't packed those yet.)

I'll do 5 balloons and put the serving trays on the table with them before heading to bed.
