Ddog has not been particularly helpful. At three I took a break for a late lunch and walked her a lap, then walked dRuby a lap. M's dh is having knee surgery today so she asked me to walk in the afternoon, and I'm on call if I can do anything else.

I've been driven to distraction by the FamilySearch website running so slowly. I've cleared cooking and checked everything I can think of and I think it's just the site. It was slow on downstairs computer also.

I had the heat on earlier up here. After walking I may need the A/C on. It's 75 degrees out but very windy. Another day with the Wind Advisory and also the elevated fire danger warning. We are in a drought.

DH got lost today.
We went out to eat at buffet place with teens. After eating his plate of food, DH said he was going to get some dessert. DH left the table while the teens and I continued to talk and eat. We heard DH chatting with people in the resturant and we commented that DH always finds people that he knows to talk with. DH brought one of the people back to our table so they could see how the teens had grown. Then DH left the table again to get his dessert and we heard him talking with someone else. DH was normal, chatting and interacting with everyone like he always does. There was no clue that his short term memory was gone. ANYway, time passed and DH didn't come back to the table with his dessert. I got up to go find DH when my phone rang. It was DH.......outside walking around trying to find me. He didn't remember where our table was so left the restaurant to continue looking for me. Thankfully he remembered how to call me on the phone.
I am so upset with myself. I thought DH could go get his own dessert without getting lost in the resturant. Thankfully it all turned out okay, but this experience lets me know that I need to keep better tabs on DH. I can't let him out of my sight.

Before we left the city we filled up SUV and got the cold things on shopping list. Yesterday I placed an order for non-cold items to be shipped to us.

LadyM that is not good. I know that I see dh looking around when we go places and the look on his face makes me think he is scared for some reason.

I'm sorry to hear he had that bad experience, LadyM, and for you, too.

The appt may have been by phone, but it was long and involved. A very nice fellow, able to answer some questions for me and that was helpful.

No sooner had I gotten off the phone with him than I had a phone call from ddolder. Sadly, the in-laws they visited over the weekend must have still been contagious from their children's school bug that had been going around. Both of her two youngest are sick. Only she and WonderBoy were without symptoms.

Tomorrow is WonderBoy's testing - not SAT but the other one, name won't come to me right now. But very important for him to feel well, oh dear.

Then ds came and worked on our back steps. Eventually, dgdC and ddil came to see. We enjoyed chatting with them in the yard. He's not quite finished but I think we will be pleased. I'll take another look in the morning light.
