Popping in here to say hi! You all seem to be getting a lot done.

LadyM, it sounds like you have an amazing number of food choices to work with for meal prep. Glad you and dh were able to take care of skin places before they became big problems.
RRose, I love that you're done with your list. I always imagine your house is very clean! I hope you enjoy your dinner out.
Harriet and Twins, dismal here too. Gray, rain and then snow, windy. It's 37* now.
Congratulations to Kathryn!

I'm slowly getting caught up on some things after cancelling 3 appointments today due to my stomach bug, which is probably gone now. (8 a.m. work out with trainer; 9:45 coffee with friend; S2's birthday lunch with K and J as well.) I think it's good to take another day and rest. I have: done the a.m. routine, made the DPC + sent an email to move things along for Mom's move up here, washed our bed quilt (handmade by Mom), ordered groceries, worked a bit on payroll - grammar lesson for tomorrow, worked on the chapter dh gave me.

Next, I'm going to:
put away groceries
put the quilt in the dryer
strip the bed
put clean sheets on the bed

Later, I'll work on the GGT project for payroll, ideally done by tomorrow but there's no hard deadline for it.

I need to start getting dinner in a little over an hour.

I'm almost done for the day.

I run the monthly Stuff Swap here in the complex so that filled 2 - 8 with a break for supper. Someone came in and asked if she could take the houseware items for a women's program that transitions women from the shelter to their own apartment. If she had not taken all she had, the remainder would not have fit in my car with room to take dh to the airport tomorrow morning.

So my morning is planned.

Almost all the winter decorations are down except I keep looking around and finding more!

The winter paintings are down and the spring/summer up but I still have to repack the winter ones and stow them in a closet.

I got a ton of stuff from the swap so I have to put that all away as well. Three tops, two scarves, a dish pan, and assorted little stuff. Plus a watch for dgs4.

Had dinner / wash up dish later.
Happy with the nice bigger new to me lap desk I thrifted today I use one daily for planning journaling and PC fits better on this one.
I am still looking over the hard bound journal art will write in it soon it's better than the other one I had! That will help with 2 goals writing
and creativity.
I made great progress on the plan I'm doing for spring notes and pages of prompts to fill in have been 75 % filled in now.
Reading that chapter in the other book gave me lots to think on.

I need to mop and clean in the bathrooms still but I"m not overly tired today so that is a good sign.

I've had a crazy day.
Woke up to a message from Life Alert -- dmom had fallen -- no injury -- but she needed me to come help her get up. She was doing "okay," but I stayed out there an hour or so... also tried to take her car for oil change, but wasn't able to do that today, and I got her a grilled chicken salad for lunch.
My haircut appt was cancelled by beautician, who had to take her daughter to the doctor.
DGS's practice was cancelled for reasons I don't know. Re-scheduled for tomorrow.
DS was also home in time to pick him up from school, so that relieved me from that duty.
So I was home until 6:00 pm when I went to dgd's ballgame. Finally got my shower in before dgd's game. I really need to start showering at night. A person who sleeps as late as I do needs to be ready to hit the ground running. One never knows what a day might bring.
---- Ooohhh... it was cold at that game, and we lost, but it was good to see DGD play anyway. She hit the ball twice, but the first time she was thrown out at first, and the second time she was safe but hit into a fielder's choice.

I'm glad to be home again where it is warm! I'm kinda worried about dmom, and definitely concerned about the upcoming surgery. She is still very unsure about it herself.

So glad she wasn't hurt, lucylee! Whew

Good to get through the day without tiredness, Nancy.

Have a good trip, Ken in Canada.

Hope the stomach bug is gone, helia - did the rest of the family get it?

Thinking of you, blessed.

My dcousin responded that she has cancelled the surgery and is going to see how the shoulder feels this summer. Hmmm.., .. I'm sure she had dr's advice on this and hope it's a wise decision.

Gone over directions through the big hospital building with HRH. I'm pretty sure I can do it without him tomorrow, but it's not ideal. Lots of information coming at me and I'm used to having him with me to hear it, too. Leaving about 7:45 and I'll finish up at noon, be able to head home. I see a nap in my future tomorrow, lol.
