Re: What you need Sunday PWYC
I've been slightly productive today - enough to go into the week not feeling that I haven't had downtime today. Dh and I both did a lap with the dog separately - he's gone on to bowling for the evening. I think I'll go upstairs for a bit and perhaps stamp.

Re: What you need Sunday PWYC
I've been doing stuff but also avoiding stuff. Like the litter boxes. I turned on the dryer and then I did all the garbage and both litter boxes and the compost bin. When I was finished I discovered that it only took 12 minutes to do the "stinky" jobs. Doing them 3 times a week totals 36 minutes out of my entire week. Not bad!
Now I just have to finish loading the dishwasher and turning it on. There are 3 pots/pans to do and the roasting pan from last night.
It has gotten cold out again and snow is in the forecast for tomorrow. Yuck!
...later
Dishwasher is full and I've turned it on. Largest pot is done. All clean dishes are away. All clean laundry is away.

Dishes never stop.
Laundry never stops.
Litter boxes never stop.
Paper never stops.

Re: What you need Sunday PWYC
It's ALMOST Monday here in CST... but I've been AWOL for a couple days -- no problems, just busy with dgrands.
I need some advice -- DS told me to just forget about it and don't call attention to myself -- just do better next time, but tonight at supper, I realized I forgot to tip at lunch this afternoon at the local restaurant across the street from our church. It's a small, locally owned restaurant, not a chain, and I can't tell you the names of the waitresses, but I probably taught one of them in school, and they all act like they know me. The bill for dgd and me was only around $15, and I would have tipped a couple of dollars. Now I'm feeling stupid and rude, and I may just stop in there tomorrow and leave $4 or $5 and apologize.
I won't be eating there next Sunday -- church is having a potluck dinner -- so I don't know what to do. Calling attention to myself by trying to be considerate of people doesn't seem like a bad thing to do.
Tomorrow, I have to be on the phone half the day.
* Remind AT&T that I need my $50 refund for cancelling service in the middle of my billing cycle.
* Call and make dmom an appt for her to get shot in her shoulder.
* Call various nursing homes and find out about respite care, which dmom would like -- short term nursing home/assisted living -- following surgery
* Call dmom, report on above, and ask what she wants me to do since dbro has not received the check she mailed him almost 2 weeks ago
* Call my dermatologist and reschedule appt because right now, it is the day after dmom's surgery
* Call accountant and see what time I can bring tax info on Tuesday
Aside from that, I need to go to Wmart and I need to do laundry.
DGD is spending the night tonight; she has been with me since church was over today, and we have played Scrabble & Old Maid (she admitted she was cheating -- she could see my cards in the reflection of my glasses! I realized I don't really need my reading glasses to play Old Maid, LOL!) I let her cheat in Scrabble -- I let her put letters in that touch other letters, without insisting they make words both ways. I figure she's still learning spelling, and vocabulary, and I enjoy the challenge. There is very little challenge to Old Maid, and I get sooo tired of it! She has also tried to (re)teach me to jump rope, but I am hopeless.
I don't know how long she'll stay tomorrow. She's usually ready to go home pretty early after spending the night here. I guess she gets bored with me!
* I did manage to get a lot of paper piled on the kitchen counter into it's rightful place(s).
* Paid credit card bill online. (With the household repairs & the last of 4 payments for football tickets, I feel I am spending money like drunken sailors this month, but thankfully, I am not having to dip into savings, and... as far as I know, for some strange reason, bank still has me at almost $500 MORE than I think my balance is. I hope I can figure this out when the next statement arrives.)
* Washed a load of dgrands' clothes -- just a few items, but she dripped chocolate pudding on her shorts during supper, and I wanted to make sure it didn't stain. Y'all -- she dipped boiled eggs in chocolate pudding. She has the strangest taste in things. I've seen her eat hot sauce for tacos straight out or the package.
* Took garbage to the road
* Prepared a sympathy card to send to mother of a classmate who passed away recently
* Ordered a housekeeping notebook that I will have to print out, and I feel sorta foolish for ordering, but I'm proud I talked myself out of the $84 pre-printed notebook. This one will be $29 but I won't print the meal plan section.
-- It is from Organized Home, (an online page I follow) and has 8 sections for a person to fill out and keep in a single binder for quick reference -- Reference (Important Contacts), Finance (Bills/Due dates/Autopay, etc.), Food (Go to meals/favorite meals/etc), Cleaning (which will be a lot of repeat of the 3x5s, actually), Celebrations (Contacts, Perpetual Calendar, Gift Ideas), Self-Care (Health Trackers, Goals) and Family (Measurements for shopping, Gift Ideas, Schedules). The idea is that one keeps all this handy in one place, and I'm thinking it will serve as a good back-up for the digital info in case my phone dies -- or my computer loses all my documents as it did when I upgraded to Windows 11.
I'm also thinking this will be an excellent place to store warranty info and the like for major purchases.
OTOH... I have the NokBox files that I have not taken out of their package -- remember, I bought this Next of Kin (NOKbox) set up when I saw how difficult it was to find everything needed when dh passed away... and I have a hanging file box that has files sitting on top of it, not arranged properly... and now I've bought this. Obviously, if I ever get past the point of being too lazy/exhausted/stressed (?) to actually DO anything, I will be the envy of all who aspire to be organized.
It's 12:30 -- I guess I will sign off and head to bed.
PS -- I also colored my hair this weekend -- I had been procrastinating about that for about a week, so that was good.
AND I have dbroil and dsisil2b's wedding gift wrapped.
