I came into a dirty floor house - I had vacuumed yesterday but it looks filthy. I had left all the dishes on the counters, dh took the laundry and put it on the chair in a bundle - it's still wet but he tried.
He couldnt' tell the nurse that visited him about his meds (or how to show the papers for his hospital visit - it was out). he didn't know about anything which is what I expected.
but at least he is letting me help him when needed.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

LUCYLEE!! I noticed that you bought something from Organized Home. Is that the one owned by Cynthia Ewer, AKA "CEO" from one of our previous SHE boards? I don't know if it is, but it sounded familiar.

((((Blessed & DMom))) I'm glad that scary medical emergency turned out okay. (((((Double gentle hugs))))

DD13 made a deal with DD48 to do 30 minutes of outside activity each day. DD13 is here.....DD48 isn't here. Sooooo....you know what that means. I can blow up their deal or I can play along with it. It looks like I get to be the one who directs & monitors DD13 outside activity each day. Yesterday I had her pick up branches and pile them in a stack. Today I had DD13 using the push mower. I love battery powered mowers because they are super simple and safe to operate. What should I have her do tomorrow? hum....

I still haven't got to the garage stuff. I might wait until morning to do it. They aren't suppose to be here until 10:30 so i have p-l-e-n-t-y of time.....said just like someone who is procrastinating.

Off to bed now. I'm a little tired and rather than find something to do, I'll just head to bed.

I did get a load of laundry done after dinner, and I've tidied up the kitchen and ran the dishwasher on rinse/hold. I'll have to do that every day until I have a full load but there were too many to easily wash them up by hand and the dishwasher will take less water, even with the rinse/hold cycles.

Cathy -- this is apparently a different site -- the email is laura@iheartplanners.com and looks like the home page for the website is Get Organized HQ.
All the emails are signed by "Laura" but I can't find a last name.
I remember CEO and some of her pages also.
I am sorta addicted to organization misc... and I really am pretty organized, compared to lots of people -- but then I have all these things I need to do and I keep putting off.

Today has been a mess -- see J&C re: dmom. Blessed, I just do not know how you manage your dh AND your dmom. I love my dmom, and we have ALWAYS gotten along so well... but after an hour or so of talking with her now, and I am just ready to jump out of my skin! She has so much trouble with her balance that it makes me nervous as a cat to be walking with her, and she has trouble thinking of her words sometimes and that makes me nervous too. Of course, I do have that problem from time to time, but I just worry about what's going to happen in the future.
She mentioned that she was having trouble getting up and down, and she might have to move in with me -- and this will make me totally panic, I think.
I don't want to live with anyone anymore. I miss dh, but I am already getting used to being on my own and I sure don't want to have to get used to someone else -- especially someone who will need so much watchfulness.
I sound like a selfish brat, don't I?
And where is my dbro in this??? In the Sunshine State, far removed from any responsibility. Sigh.

I did go to the restaurant and give them the tip. I told them I might sound crazy, and I probably am, but it had just been bothering me that I thought I forgot, and I didn't want them to wonder what they did wrong. The lady was very nice -- she said, "You shouldn't have worried about that! It happens, people just forget, it's fine." I said, "Well, y'all were so nice, making on over dgd's dress and her baby doll's dress, and I just wanted to be sure you knew we weren't complaining about anything. I knew I wouldn't be able to make it up to you next Sunday because we're having potluck at church, so it was going to be two weeks till I would see you again." She did seem to appreciate it, but probably wouldn't have thought another thing about it if I hadn't showed up. But now when I go back, I won't have any awkward feelings wondering if they have a bad feeling about me or something.

So -- aside from this and dealing with dmom, I have been to Wmart, but still haven't put away my groceries.
Over in Fun and Games, SmileLee (or someone else) always starts out the day with a challenge to do three things --
so my three today would be
1. Walmart (but still must put away groceries)
2. change sheets (They are clean and lying in a pile on the bed, but I have not made up the bed yet.)
3. laundry (one load aside from sheets, done and ready to hang to dry, but still lying on the dryer)
and in addition, I had the back and forth with dmom
and the stop at the restaurant.
I still need to do my devotional reading and exercise, and I am determined to get back into the exercise routine.

I also am trying to decide if showering at night would be a good thing or a bad thing. Around here, I never know what the morning will bring -- quick trip to dmom? One never knows. And I sleep well after a shower. Especially with clean sheets. But OTOH, I sometimes have night sweats and a morning shower is a good thing. Plus -- if I want to do my hair, showering is almost necessary (or at least rinsing my hair and adding conditioner). So, it's a quandary. Also, if I ever get into a morning exercise/walking routine, then morning showering would be better, after exercise.
I really need to get up earlier.

Waving to ALL of you -- I'm going to do my walk away the pounds now, to start this week off better, even though it is 10:00 p.m.
Tomorrow is another day.
