I'm so sorry to hear about the meeting at work, FFB, and coworkers who aren't honest and don't treat others with kindness and dignity. I hope time with your wonderful dh and boys has helped keep your mind off of it.
Hi Peaches!
Are you baking bread today, L Ann?
That's kind of you to host the group of young people tonight, Lauralind. Dd29 hosts at our house sometimes too.

I forgot my running watch on my jog, so I have no idea my mileage. I think I went between 2.5 and 3 miles; I did a there and back run instead of a circle.

It's 2:20 pm. I've only accomplished one of my goals for the day. I'm still going to try to at least touch on each of them.

Goals for Today
1. Jog
2. Visit Mom
3. Clean sheets on bed
4. Progress with change of address cards for Mom
5. Progress with Mom's stuff in our house
6. Payroll: end of session tasks
7. Payroll: edit argumentative essay chapter
6. Dinner date!

Next:
- s2s and self care
- squeegee and wipe down shower
- payroll: end of session tasks

Later:
- clean sheets on bed
- payroll: end of session tasks
- payroll: edit chapter
- go through Mom's stuff
- go through pile on desk?
- progress: change of address cards
- maybe repot baby orchid?
- ~ 3:30/ 4 pm visit Mom - drop off more yogurt
- dinner date with dh!
- duo
- update health apps: WW and MFP
- start reading fun book
- update goodreads

TaDas!
- up; weighed self - still high
- coffee
- tomato plants outside in the sun (I adopted them from DE at payroll)
- email deletions + weather website
- some general pupa: coffee table, hot spot
- found and put new lead in mechanical pencil
- some qt
- reclaimed kitchen
- back exercises
- dress to jog
- jog
- WF and put away groceries
- lunch
- checked CC and then bank account; all is fine!

Hi Peaches!
Frenchie, getting yelled at at work is definitely not normal and not acceptable! Though I have to admit I've had a boss or two who would do that - but basically to everybody. One of them was an alcoholic with cocaine addiction, but I guess that is/was acceptable in high profile management? Anyways, he would yell at me one day for something he didn't like I did, and the next day sign off a month's wage bonus for a project he did like, it was like this with him.
L.Ann, you enjoy the long weekend too!
lauralind, ugh about the no electricity! And no coffee on top of it? I wouldn't manage! :-)
helia, DH will be gone for almost 4 weeks. I am lucky, there were talks abou prolonging it to over 5 weeks, but he put his foot down and refused the change of plans. The super-original plan (that I agreed to) was two weeks only!

That's a super long trip, trissie. Do you get your own private vacation when he gets back? I guess he's not on vacation. . .Dh and I used to get in huge fights when he would return after work travel when the kids were small. Hopefully, you and your DH don't do that. My dh never traveled more than 3 weeks (international trips) in one trip, I don't think, but he traveled more than 1 week every month - year after year. Street food + movie night sounds like an awesome evening!
L Ann, I had a separate list of goals for the weekend, including these. Yeah, they will end up being more like weekend goals, for sure.

I've decided to move my visit with Mom to tomorrow. Dh is going to go tomorow and hang up pics + a giant bulletin board. I accidentally bought one that was bigger than needed.

Goals for Today
1. Jog
2. Visit Mom - Sunday
3. Clean sheets on bed
4. Progress with change of address cards for Mom
5. Progress with Mom's stuff in our house
6. Payroll: end of session tasks
7. Payroll: edit argumentative essay chapter
6. Dinner date!

Next:
- clean sheets on bed
- tidy MBR cedar chest
- start going through the small bag of Mom's stuff

Later:
- clean sheets on bed
- payroll: edit chapter
- go through Mom's stuff
- go through pile on desk?
- progress: change of address cards
- maybe repot baby orchid?
- ~ 3:30/ 4 pm visit Mom - drop off more yogurt
- dinner date with dh!
- duo
- update health apps: WW and MFP
- start reading fun book
- update goodreads

Well I got the tomatoes and peppers and cucumbers planted and watered after adding some soil to the beds. Dad went and tilled the big part of the greenhouse. I wish he wouldn't have now he's on the couch napping. Too much. Oh well. But I brought the plants out and forgot the seeds here. Ended up having lunch and helping dad clean up a bit.

So in other news it looks like ds and ddil are moving themselves and dgs into his fifth wheel trailer that is set up at dad's. So they can get out of the expensive rental and save some money for a house of their own. I think they are a little undecided. Friends are all here but not sure what he wants for work. They were starting to do some work and borrowed grandpa's big trailer to pack some stuff till they figure out where to store it. I just texted him to see if they want supper so they don't have to figure that out. Need to do a little tidy up before evening. And maybe a shower since I was digging in the dirt and didn't have one this morning.

Almost like starting morning routine all over. 😆

Priority list

Basic routines
Kitchen clean
Floors
Go to greenhouse before and see what they have for a couple more plants
Plant greenhouse
Plant potatoes
Plant seeds of other veggies

Today's tada list

S&s both baths and reboot laundry
Tidy laundry room and master bedroom some
Empty and reload dw when done
Finish tidying kitchen all the way
Call dad if he doesn't call first
[/quote]

Take 2

Shower
S&s both baths and reboot laundry
Tidy laundry room some
Empty dw again
Kitchen was almost clean Finish it
Tidy main living room
Sweep everywhere
