Trissie that is so rude not to inform you but glad you met friend and got paperwork, that made it worth it. You have accomplished a lot, I say rescue kitchen and fold towels and the.morning routine can be done tomorrow morning.

My phone won't let me scroll back but I did read everything. You all are getting so much done.

Put load of wash in :D , strip bed :D ,change sheets :D shower and dress :D and eat :D just had the breakfast of a stressed woman, a protein shake with 4 bites of vegan gluten free sugarrfree strawberry cheesecake and a full sugar small chocolate dingdong cake!!!

Put on fresh sheets :D , clean out top closet, clean out sock drawer (I seem to be avoiding the top of closet but hubby put away my step ladder)
Flip laundry :D and start another load, :D remake guest bed :D and store linens :D this feel so much better.

So now time to do bills and I will get back to that closet when I take load of laundry to fold.

Gather mail, pay bills, call att, print itinerary
Flip laundry and wash sheets, towels and bath matt.
Lay out clothes to pack, pack and refresh toiletries, pack backpack for flight
Make copies of all passports and paperwork, leave 1 copy here for R.

LOL, if it's any comfort, I have that song running around in my head too, Kittykatt.

That's an interesting story, lucylee. I'm sure that you were too distracted by events to be imagining Huckleberry Finn drifting down on the raft, or Mark Twain on the paddle steamer, which jumps to my mind when I hear Mississipi River.

Good morning, L.Ann. I'm glad that the rain didn't stop your walk.

Thanks, Bama. I'm glad that the little scare ended happily.

That would be such a frightening detour, helia. The worst that happens to me is that I used to end up in Longueuil every time I drove through Montreal. They finally fixed the exits so that if you drive straight, you stay on the 40 and drive through Montreal.

CostumeLady, my mind went to Ellesmere Island, and I thought "We have cruises going to Ellesmere now?" I mean, if they have cruises to Greenland, I guess it's possible.

WTG, Lauralind's ds on your award! I hope that you get to see the ceremony, Lauralind.

That is so frustrating, trissie, to do your part only to find it cancelled.

It is noon and I have accomplished not much, but there's still plenty of time to get myself spiffed and ready to pick up the rental car before my appointment.

trissie, thanks for the start, and especially for the joke!
cl, have a great trip!
kittykatt, Is today Matilda's dental? How did the night go?

I'm off to a bad start today. Realized that it's the due date for estimated taxes, adn I have no idea where the paperwork is. I can find last year's. It has been only 2 months since I made out the last checks, but I have no idea where I put the folder. Since then there have been
crutches... knee scooter... dr visits for myself and mother... hospitalizations.... 5 day 101 birthday celebration ... college reunion.... guests... dog sick... dog died... sidewalk issues.... sprinkler system issues.... tenant change... buy new bed... care conference for mother.... what am I missing?
I had issues last year, so this year I made sure to put it where it would be easily findable

Oh well, I'll put it on my list and get a few things done first, maybe it will show up by itself.
get dressed
return knee scooter
get bank balances
find IRS and state revenue forms
address graduation cards
 talk with acquaintance who is upset over potential suspension of drivers license after an accident she was in
 conversation with physician for dfBS in hospital. Telephone rounds - at least I didn't have to be there.
 less than frutiful conversation with state fire marshall re mother being cold from air conditioning.
 cereal and toast eaten

Sending finder's vibes your way, gma!
Dogged, where are you off to for your vacation?
Costumelady, I wish that was enough, but my days are not that simple :-(

We could actually use some finder's vibes here as well. Terri came to me "I have a problem" - she can locate neither her keys nor her student pass, and she hasn't seen them since before their school trip last week. The student pass was in her sister's backpack, but we don't have the keys :-(

TaDas
- morning routine
- rescue kitchen
- fold towels
- help DtD T look for her student pass (success) and keys (no luck)

ToDos
- midday routine
- start dinner
- unpack DBD's backpack from the trip

YAAY I found the tax forms, so now I can get on with what needs to be done! I have 90 minutes. If I can get it done, I can go to join mother for the monthly music event at her NH.
I'll write out the checks I need to before I leave, go to the bank, and make sure all acounts have the proper balances to civer what I am doing, then to the PO across the street to mail the financial stuff. The grad and retirement cards can wait another day.

Wishing you finer vibes as well, trissie!

So much going on here!

Hi Peaches!
L Ann, swimming is so important for little ones to learn. 70 is cold - and I'm surprised it wasn't warmer where you are.
CL, we flew in and out of Manchester, UK last summer for a family wedding, our nephew's. We stayed in Chesterfield for a couple nights before the weeklong family reunion (dh's) vacation in Bala, Wales. I hope you have a fabulous trip!
Glad you found the tax form Gma! As I cleaned up the papers on the desk, I found a tax form that Mom's CPA's were asking about 2 years ago. Oops.
Have the keys been located yet trissie? What a waste of time and energy waiting to testify and then learning you don't need to. WTG finding a silver lining.
WTG getting your errands done, Bama. How's the cleaning going?
I hope the appointment goes well, Doggedly.

I can't scroll back any further so I hope I didn't miss anybody.

I'm home now for the rest of the day. It's getting warm outside - but it is a beautiful summer day! Not a cloud in the sky!

Main Goals for Today
✅ 1. Jog
✅ 2. Visit Mom - I think I'll go around 1 (after lunch and before she naps)
3. Payroll: finish AR Exam
4. Finish the study project - declutter payroll books
5. Finish laundry

Next:
- start a lol
- some qt
- payroll: finish AR exam

TaDas!
- up; weighed self - up a bit
- coffee
- email deletions + weather website
- back exercises
- dressed to jog
- short jog in park
- s2s and self care
- squeegeed and wiped down shower
- darks: finished folding and p/a
- phone call from hospice chaplain
- gathered stuff and otd ~ 1

Hi everyone !
Mississippi for me means Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn, just like you Dogged ! I enjoyed the animated cartoon on TV when I was 6 (although I was afraid of Indian Joe).
trissie what an eventful day ! I hope you find the keys.
Gma your day and your summing up of the past year is also eventful and exhausting just reading it.
CL how exciting, another trip to the UK !
Waving to L.Ann, Bama, Peaches, helia ! I hope I don't forget anyone.

Just a quick CI before bed. Payroll was boring but uneventful. Home at 6pm, I managed to cook dinner and harvest 2 bowls of sweet peas and have DS6 color the birthday party invitations for his 2 friends. And a bedtime story. MrNG is getting things ready in his car because he leaves at 6 am for a day of work (paid mission, his own business) in Douarnenez (coastal town in Brittany). I'll have to manage the kids alone in the morning and in the evening. Well, if trissie can manage four kids at different schools for several weeks, I think I can handle it.

Last TODOs
update Health and Fitness habit count (+ do habits)
meditation
probably read a few pages... and sleeep

Have a peaceful evening and night every one!
