FFB, I managed to get everything done in the kitchen during the heat of the day when it was far too hot to be outside, but before the sun had worked its way round to the kitchen, so it was still reasonably cool.

Helian, I'm sure you look beautiful after your hair appointment. I'm very impressed that you went over the 5k!

Laura, you certainly have a lot on your plate ATM. Hoping you can find some time for you in the midst of all your family responsibilities.

Hi, Peaches!

Today was very hot and humid, but it's cooler now,and the wind has got up. Which means the pollen in is being blown around. (Sigh). But I e made profiteroles for dessert tomorrow, and also some caramel cupcakes for during the week. The duck is all ready to go into the oven, and I've prepped the veg. DH was back by this time, so we had a cup of tea and Jude got on my lap. When it cooled down outside, I fed my pots and deadheaded. The geraniums really enjoy this hot dry weather, but the roses are less happy.

DH made toad-in-the-hole for supper, and Matilda is now on my lap.

MATILDA'S ANTI INFLAMMATORY MEDICATION BEFORE BED

Measure again in kitchen - where would new fridge go? What are the maximum measurements? Probably 55 cm wide by 145 cm high. Will the bins etc fit in the gap currently occupied by present fridge? YES I also need to start getting the surplus dolls house furniture for sale in eBay (many of the items I wanted came as a "job lot" so I have things left over that I'm not going to need. There is no room for "another dolls house" in the house, (although I was tempted!) so all the bits and pieces I know I'm not going to use need to be listed for sale. I will, of course, keep a few pieces, in case I decide to turn that second bedroom back into a bedroom rather than use it as a music room, but I don't need six spare beds and four wardrobes!!! To make my life easier, I'll probably sell the surplus as job lots, so I don't have numerous boxes everywhere!

I do DD32’s one injection that she gets each week, Laura. It isn’t hard to do although it does depend on the medication. The med DD32 is on now is super easy compared to the last one which was more dense I get and harder to inject.

We survived the first day of bocce. All of the athletes were having trouble with the heat and it is supposed to be 10 degrees hotter tomorrow so it should be interesting. All next week it is going to be in the high 90s with the heat index over 100. It wouldn’t be hard if it hadn’t been 65 degrees on Monday.
