Blessed! I was just thinking of you and wondering how things were going for you and your family.

We had a chimney sweep years ago. We had a DUCK get caught in our chimney, and he came and rescued it. LOL. I don't know how we found him -- dinlaws' or someone we knew told us that he did this -- he was a teacher at the tech school, but this was a side job for him. Since then, we had a top put on our chimney, but at present, there are birds in the chimney. I don't know how they got in, but I can hear them chirping. Well -- I did hear them; there has been no noise for the last several days. Maybe they got out the same way they got in.

Thinking cap... hmmm... LOL... I think DS was more embarrassed than I was after my text to the finance committee last night. I was just relieved I didn't mention anything unfavorable about the church or the pastor! Right now, there is something I would like to discuss with DS and ddil, but I'm not going to text them about it, LOL! I am very diligently trying to be more thoughtful about what I put in print.

Today, I didn't think much, and I didn't do much either.
I did fold the towel laundry, and I kept DGD fed, which was no small accomplishment. Both dgrands must be going through growth spurts! They want to eat constantly.
Oh -- I did exercise a bit -- 15 min walk away the pounds. I've got to keep that up. This month does not compare well to last month.
DGD had her last volleyball game of the regular season tonight; the last night will actually be next Tuesday when they have a county tournament. DGD's team is undefeated, but they will have to play three games (matches?) in a row Tuesday if they continue winning, so that may be too tiring for them. I'm just really thankful she has tried this and apparently enjoyed it. She has had a really nice group of girls on her team and the coach is a wonderful young lady, a former student of mine.

Cathy, I am amazed at the weather y'all are having! I would have thought summer would be much cooler in your area. Here I am complaining about temps in the 90s.
I halfway promised DGD to take her swimming tomorrow. I am NOT looking forward to this.

LadyM, when you say you went through "every single item," in the room, you are talking about cleaning out closets, drawers, EVERYTHING, right? I don't know how you do it, but I sure do admire you!
I hope DS is feeling better.

I hope you are feeling better too, Rose!

Twins, I had to have a short nap today also.

Waving to ALL -- good night/morning! :D Hope you all have a great day for Friday!
