Re: Widgery Cross Wednesday
Heading to mom’s to deep clean fridge and any food still left from before she passed. It’s been awhile. It was too hard to deal with for awhile and then it was forgotten. Bbl.

Re: Widgery Cross Wednesday
Doggedly, I forgot all about free rice. Do they still donate food?
No real advice on oils, I keep a small olive oil, still use vegetable oil rarely but it’s about all I have. I use butter sometimes and we still have solid oil/crisp but it’s been ruminating in the fridge for at least a year. I use a spray can of olive oil that sees a lot of use, spraying cooking sheets, veggies…so maybe a spray option?

Re: Widgery Cross Wednesday
Popping in. It's about 4:45. I haven't showered yet. LOL! I kinda forgot.
Games on devices: I do NYT Games (word games), MS Solitaire games on my computer, more like puzzles, or occasionally jigsaw puzzles at jigsawexplorer.com. I always have a real life book of jigsaw sudokus of a specific sort and brand that say "advanced solving techniques required." They're difficult; if I can do a puzzle in one sitting, it's too easy.
Duolingo is kind of a gamified language learning app if one likes that sort of thing. I think it's a good quality app.
Next:
- s2s and self care
- squeegee and wipe down shower
- make the bed
Later:
- make the bed
- payroll: AR Exam draft made and sent out for review
- payroll: set up vocab journals for next unit
- pay Mom's PT bill
- work on fridge
- writing progress
- knitting progress
- bins back from the curb
- dinner: TBD
- after dinner clean up
- duolingo
- update health apps
TaDas!
- up; weighed self
- started clearing dish drainer
- coffee made
- email deletions + weather website
- finished reclaiming the kitchen
- back exercises
- jog
- checked urgent care bill - it's sorted
- lunch
- some qt
- groc list and menu plan
- Kroger
- put everything away
- made marinade and got pork loin marinating in it; clean up again

Re: Widgery Cross Wednesday
Thanks, Bama, for the advice. Yes, free rice still donates rice. I hope that the fridge is not too bad.
You have given Little Bit another good day, L.Ann.
Hi, Peaches
Those sound like fun games too, helia. WTG on your progress.
Wednesday
Cleaned up after dog
Treat and probiotic for dog
Put away dry dishes
Tried to repair breadmaker
Searched for breadmaker manual, which seems to have disappeared after o/s reinstallation
Searched online for breadmaker manual that has the cornbread recipe
Filled/started breadmaker and put a flat of dog food on top to hold the lid in place
Woke up, realized what a bad idea it is to keep cans of food on something that is going to get hot, replaced the dog food with a stack of pots.
Cleaned up after dog X a million
Got the bread out of the breadmaker long after it was finished cooking. Left it on the breadboard to dry out. (missing a slice)
Wrestled with Costco info. Strategized.
Treat and Benedryl for Germane
CUOP
Wiped down breadmaker and put it away
Washed the dishes

Wtg, LAnn, peaches, helia, doggedly!
Helia, duolingo is a good one. Lingo Legend is good too from what I’ve seen of it.
Doggedly, I’m not as up to date on oils as I probably should be. I’m clueless about avocado, seed oils seem controversial, so I have stuck with basics.
Moms house wasn’t too bad, tossed some canned goods, condiments, and a party platter of meats and cheeses I had stored there last Christmas and forgot about - the crazy thing was it was never opened so air never got to it and it looked good as new. Brought home mom’s recipe boxes to go through. Listed some of her airway tubing on a local page to donate. Hung some of dds clothes that were laying on the floor (I had blocked the closet with boxes of jars from dmils house, most have been bartered to a florist for store credit, 2 more boxes to go but the closet isn’t blocked anymore). Swept inside. Swept the porch. Fed stray cat that thinks mom’s porch is his home now. Filled bird feeders at her house and at mine.
Eating something and taking a break now.

Re: Widgery Cross Wednesday
My olive oil has a 2 year expiration on it, Dogged. The podcast I just listened to today said that the processing extends shelf life so I think that most oils are probably at least similar to olive oil. I do the New York Times games, Laura. I currently have a subscription but I was able to access most of them without a subscription that I paid for.

Re: Widgery Cross Wednesday
Hi all. Hmmm. I did play a round of connect cells and doubled my record but I closed it and opened it several times over from texting between and when I left etc. I'll have to slow down and be patient and see if that 30 seconds x turns up but I don't think so. Mahjong is on here and I'm not sure about suduko cause math is not my strength. Maybe that would be good. Lol.
I'm tired now. My therapist said I would be. She adjusted a couple spots but no where near ax much as usual. I booked again for 2 weeks from now. Came home and then because I didn't have a busy morning borrowed dh truck and cleaned it out a bit and helped a friend take the last of things to the reuse shed. In the warm. It's hot out. I'm not used to it.
I should get up and go find something for supper. And maybe a healthy snack. Laundry. Of course I still didn't get anywhere on my priority list but I think it meant a bit to have help wishing her the best.
Find meat for supper
Switch laundry
Wash a couple pans and counters
Drink some water for once
