Doggedly, that’s sad about the victims of crimes. You never know. Poor Germane, she just missed you.

LAnn, anything with lawyers seems to take an extra long time.

Well, I did take a little nap. Woke to dh waking me to help with groceries. I had made an order for pickup and he got it on his way home. Got that done. Now I wish I had ordered something quick and easy for supper. I don’t have a clue Wfd.

Chat away Bama. I get my chatty moments too! I actually am not very well-traveled in the south of the US. Someday I will go and explore some southern cities! I haven't even been to Atlanta!
Doggedly, that's awful. If you feel unsafe, having Germane with you might help. Even if she's not a vicious dog, I think having any dog is a deterrent to criminals. There are a lot of stereotypical travel spots dh and I haven't been to. I think we could travel a lot more IN the USA. And Canada too, of course. 8-)
Glad you got that estate work done, L Ann. Do you have a brother? (Saw sister in law.)

It is 7:30. Dh just got home from his work dinner - kinda early. :)

Probably we drove through New Brunswick too.

That would certainly help, L.Ann.

A nap can be so refreshing, Bama. And great that your DH picked up the groceries, though not so fun to have to wake up to put them away.
I looked up what WFD stands for and came up with Westminster Foundation for Democracy. Doesn't sound right.

We have our laundry back, I have eaten snacks, and will now call db.

Helia, I guess your dh had fast food at his work dinner.

Hi all. I'm always chatty and wonder if too much as well. I like getting to know you all.

Yikes doggedly that is really scary. But yes a little less so if domestic. Looking for someone specific. I would be very uncomfortable.

Wfd. What's for dinner.... good one 👍.

Helian I have traveled western US a couple times. Never out of the west coast. Before I was married. Now our holidays are always Alberta to dh home territory now dd home territory. I've never been off north America.

Wfd?? Lol well there was a plan. Ds put a whole chicken on the grill. Chopped up some foil pack potatoes and left it to cook for most of my walk time before figuring out we're out of pellets. Now it's 7 . It was barely starting to cook. I dumped everything in the instant pot with some broth and it's got to be almost sealed now 😋...

I'm excited now. Dh did a bit more outside work today. Another whole flat section. It's been rough and not done and tall weeds for quite a few years. They cleaned out a bunch of junk from the creek so it can flow in spring again. I can see what could look really good like my own little park and garden. Flowers and berry bushes and fruit trees and a new garden over there. I gotta get out the round up and deal with the thistle. Chop up some fallen over dead willow branches.. and I wonder if I can till some of that up and make a new garden. Oh and a cute little gazebo and fire pit over there. Suddenly I feel like I can mow 4 of my 5 acres. Everywhere is started and unfinished.

Getting up in a bit to put the pot on for corn on the cob. And hopefully everything cooks properly how I did it.

Just about bedtime.
such a full day
meet with Nurse practioner at Nh for Mom
Take mom to orthpedic dr for cortisone to knees
lunch at Red Lobst er
bring her to her house, help her deadhead some flowers, with for dbro to show up - he was running errands
afternoon coffee party at dfOI house
estate sale at neighbor of OI (People we know, too)
invited to special retirement supper at dfMG house
Non of those 3 could include Mother, so she was with dbro for a few hours.
He made supper for her, but it was late, and they were still eating when I got back
Mom was over tired, it was difficult to get her back into car, back to NH, and she was having a meltdown.
Fortunately, the NH staff were wonderful and were able to get her to cooperate.
Lasagna from teh freezer is thawing for lunch tomorrow - 2 childhood friends from neighborhood wehre we grew up are coming to see mother. Since they said they were coming about 1130-noon I decided it would be best scheduling if I offered them lunch. Brownies in teh oven now for tomorrow dessert.
I have to get stuff for salad in the morning before I get Mom.
This is just too much all at one time! All good, but just so much!
