As all kids are now fast asleep, I did my civic duty and drove to the election place. I'm praying for a good result, though quite frankly I am not sure a good result is actually possible (opposition is corrupted and will side with pro-Russian parties, and governmental parties are even more corrupted and incompetent and spent the last four years making everything worse). But who knows?
It's 10:15pm, I guess I've earned the right to do nothing (after I do my evening yoga, the last of the dailies)

L.ann, that sounds both lovely and very creative.
trissie, sometimes we need to be able to just find an alone place!

I thought I had watered everything, and then remember I have one more area that needs attention. I don't have my hoses set up very efficiently for 2 faucets. One faucet gets used more than the other because of the design of what needs watering.
I can't eem to get enough water into my system today either. I'm feeling hungry, and I think I have eaten enough so it must be thirst making as hunger, ie, need soemthing into my system.
I've ahd conversations with mother's nurse today, with physical therapy, and with speech therapy. Keeping up with her needs is exhausting! And I haven't been to her house yet today. there are things there tha tneed watering, a bed that needs to be made, mail that needs to come in, and banking that will just have to wait until Monday.
And I have 2 bills to pay, which I will do by phone.
Even tho I had a decent night sleep, I'm tired! Oh, I forgot - I mowed my whole lawn. duh! That could explain it! I did it in sections, and took a few rest periods, but it is hot out and exhausting.
(I'm just "thinking out loud", rambling to help me know what to do next. I think it is paying the bills. That's easy and light. )
Mother's hosue and yard might have to wait, but I do want it in good shape when dsis3 comes in a week.

Gma, I'm not surprised your tired ,.with all the watering and grass cutting! I'm glad the meeting at the NHS went well today.

Hi, Peaches!

I did have a little nap this afternoon with Jude on the bed (because I could!

) a D that seemed to restore my energy. I decided to work in the sitting room, and I've finally done the glass cabinet, and tightened the joints on the sofa. That just leaves the china display cabinet to do tomorrow, and the rug to wash. And then I *think* the sitting room will be finished.

I'm in bed early tonight, so there's a chance I'll get up at a reasonable time tomorrow. Night night everyone!

Short to do list:
Up and out early for flu jab (kitties also fed!)

M&S Foodhall for tins of Christmas chocolates, also shortbread and chocolate stocking fillers for DH. Chocolate gingers for DFE (they all have a long use by date, so as long as I keep everything somewhere cool it should be ok)

Drive back home

Longer walk for Freddie (he was quite affronted at having to go without earlier!

)

Prune Peace rose in front garden

Feed pot in front garden

Put a few more items in my Waitrose trolley

Snuggle time with Jude

and Matilda

Reply to HT's email re church "census" this month

Laundry:
White wash
Delicate wag
Wool wash
Fold laundry and PA
Clean sheets and towels out of airing cupboard
Also clean mattress and pillow protectors.for bed
Wash protectors currently on bed? (Or wait until Sunday when I change the sheets?)

Decluttering/deep cleaning in sitting room (continue tomorrow if necessary):
Empty glass and drinks cabinet

Move photos and clock on top of cabinet - clean photos and polish clock

Pull cabinet away from wall,. brush wall and spot clean, wipe skirting board and hoover

Polish cabinet and wipe out inside

Put cabinet back in place

Go through contents amd only put back those I want to keep

Check and tighten joints on sofa using special tools

Polish wooden cats on top of china display cabinet

Take "pretties" out of cabinet and carefully wash
While they are airing decide if I want to swap some over with some in storage to change the display
Polish outside of cabinet, dust inside and clean the glass
Put "pretties" back inside
Put cushion covers back on scatter cushions
Put chair backs and arm covers back on my chair
Wash rug

DD32 had fun at her party. Last thing and Iam done.

4 hours with Mother. There was a nice supper tray there for her - a grilled cheese sandwich, which she didn't want so I ate

and a lovely bowl of squash (or carrot?) soup, either way it was delicious and she ate almost all of it. Truth be told, I fed it to her with lots of encouragement. She was tired. I don't think she had much liquid during the day, because it is unusual for her to be thirsty and take almost a liter of liquids while I was there. But I am going to focus on the good thing that there was food there for me to give her when I arrived.
