Been home from workout for awhile. Great workout as usual, told them I had good energy today and didn't want it drained with my workout! I stopped at temple on the way home. I have donated a stack of Hanukkah cards and Bar/Bat Mizvah cards. They can charge whatever they want for them, and it's a donation on my part. I like to make cards and people do call the temple wanting cards at times. Spent a little time catching up with temple admin. Then picked up script at CVS - the other one.
I've been sitting here at my computer awhile. I need to get the chicken in a marinade and get the corn on the cob ready to grill. Dh is sounding really tired, he said he's feeling his aches and pains today so I hope he will still grill. I'd like to get upstairs a few minutes once chicken is marinating.
Ancestry and FamilySearch sites are down with the AWS outage.

Fun Day Monday PWYC
Not a good day to update rewards list for fun as Amz. was down on a couple of the ideas I thought of. . .
oh well I went on to do other things.
I'd already decided to skip the CE class bc of sos same old same old stuff.
Did some more knitting.
Peeled and cut up zucchini to cook up later. x
I can finish a yt on learning I got half way t though. x
* I am able to get back in yea!*

Re: Fun Day Monday PWYC
Same frustration here, LadyM. I think I once commented here that I had to correct a dr who told me he wanted me to see the Nutritionist they had on staff and how great it was that they had one. Um... no. I hated to tell him, but I'd already seen her, and her degree was Dietician. At least he recognized the distinction immediately and the fact that he needed to know the correct terminology. A smart colleague, but without the patient knowledge he was assuming, and not someone he should just refer to so that he could wash his hands of patient questions. On the other hand, a Nutritionist to whom I was referred (and to whom ins would pay) at a highly ranked hospital quit because she was expected to consult as rapidly as 15 minutes per patient, and it just wasn't possible to consult so quickly about so much needed information. In general, food knowledge is low-priority with powers-that-be in medical halls and pocketbooks.
Sorry to rant. I think it's wonderful that you and dd are getting so much truly interested input, clear diagnoses, attention. The physical therapy concept is not something I would have thought was part of a plan - sounds very complete.
Electrician may come this afternoon or may not. We understand from everyone to whom we speak that we are WAY lucky just to know a week in which an electrician has us on schedule when it's not an emergency. But he thinks if not today then tomorrow. Someone needs to be at home.
Have been fielding calls that schedule appts in the next several weeks.

hi d harriet so frustrating about the dr. not knowing the dietician was not a nutritionist. I don't know how a nutritionist could only have a 15 minute appointment. That doesn't help anyone.
it's not a rant - it is the truth.
hi d Nancy yes I had trouble with amz. as well.
yay on knitting
hi d twins yay on workout.
glad you had good energy
how lovely that you make cards for temple! I know they love them.
hope your dh feels better.
hi d lady - testing and support seems thorough
weird that they don't cover holistic nutritions treatments.

So glad you had the visit with your dfriend, blessed! You needed a bright spot in your day!
I did not know anything about the internet outage today! That is surprising for me, LOL! I did try to ci: here, but when I got the message from our site, I had to rush off to the church meeting, and it was all over by the time I got back.
I don't feel that I accomplished much today, either, because it got sorta frustrating.
I did s2s first thing, straightened the bed, did stretches, read Bible...
put a load of towels in the washer...
went to church to find my Bible, which was there, thank Goodness.
Had to sign a couple checks while I was there, and talked to the pastor for a long while. (She is a talker just like me.)
Went to get my flu shot and fill a prescription...
Went to the bank to get $ for ds' bday card...
Went to drive-in for lunch... and there's where the day fell apart, sort of.
Battery went dead! I was just about to dial AAA and the man next to me called out to me -- "Do you need a jump?'
I said yes I did! and I offered to buy his lunch when they brought it out to him, but he wouldn't let me.
I asked his name and he turned out to be one of dh's former football players! I felt like dh was kinda looking out for me, you know?
Then I drove for a little while to build up the battery, came home to try re-starting it, and it did re-start fine , but I still went to Auto Zone to have it tested.
They said it was bad... and the 3-year warranty had run out TWO MONTHS ago. SMH.
So now I have a new battery.
Came home, put towels in the dryer... whites in the washer... regrouped for a bit... went to church.
Now I'm home and I've eaten a bowl of chilli for supper, and I have to fold these towels and hang up the whites. (I laid them out smoothly on top of the dryer before church).
