Today is flying by!

Kitty, good cat info.
Helia, glad K is back. A run sounds like a good way to find quiet time, then you can retire early if need be.
LAnn, that’s good, I wasn’t sure if moving the date was a positive, I understand about mentally preparing only to have things change so you have to re-prepare.
Hi Lucy (cute song story), Peaches.
Wtg, everyone.

I think I know why I’m mojo-less, the weather has been pretty gray since the bad weather moved through, I’m not sure if the clouds afe part of the system moving through Jamaica today too (praying for them), so trying to shake it off. Thanks for all of the hope! I know I’ll find my stride by Thursday, just when dh is off work for the weekend and we have to go out to deal with things, leaving the house a wreck once more lol. No biggie. The main stuff is done. Just trying to start decorating for Christmas in small groupings. My tree was delivered today and I want to deep clean before I set it up.

Done:
Bible
Weigh
Breakfast ate and logged
Laundry -
- my clothes washing
- dealt with load found in dryer
Pets fed, watered, litter scooped (all but cat bathroom)
Bathroom clean
Wipe down surfaces

Do:
Kitchen - Wfd, load dw and run
Cat bathroom chores
Water
♥ Wake each day expecting good things to happen! ♥

Hi, all. I have been having a good day, despite a lazy start. I took advantage of the beautiful weather to go to the part store and get the windshield wipers changed. That was weighing more and more heavily on me. I now have good quality windshield wipers that work properly in the rain and are designed to push snow off. I love that parts store. I always get such good service. I was going to try to change them myself, and if I succeeded, buy a second set to keep handy in the trunk. He talked me out of it, because most of their wipers have a one-year warranty, so if the rubber does come off they will replace them for me. And there's no point in having the warranty run out on wipers sitting in the trunk. The clerk was such a young man, you could see that he was enjoying being the expert and being able to help someone with no knowledge, and I was just grateful for the great help!

The other thing that I can cross off my goals list is that I picked up the blue painters tape to make the bathroom door more visible to Germane.

Hooray clean and tidy sitting room, and DH successfully launched, Kittykatt. Did you get your good shoes? Not sure if I CUOP'd properly.

The National Film Board did a very funny animated short on that song (The Cat Came Back), lucylee. Worth checking out while you have that tune stuck in your head.

Hi, Peaches

I'm glad that the cat is home safe, helia. I like Kittykatt's idea of buying yourself a little peace by saying that you have to catch up with some work. Peace for you, and no hurt feelings.

L.Ann, I'm glad that you are going to be able to have the operation over and done with sooner. I'm sorry that they didn't give you more time to prepare.

Hi, Bama. Is it time for Christmas trees already! I don't feel ready.

You know FrenchFly, we really don't give parents enough credit. Of all the things that we imagine ourselves doing, "clean another person's nose" never shows up on the list!

I'm just going to grab some food. I have a zoom meeting to join in about 15 minutes. Not a contributor; It's an Acorn meeting about the provincial govt's proposed changes to rental rules.

Tuesday
Cleaned up after dog
Put on a pot of coffee
Spiffed self
Bagged kitchen garbage and sent it
down the chute
Walked dog
Fresh water for dog
Settled dog in pen with food and probiotic
Went to car part store where I had wonderful service and got great advice. I now have functioning windshield wipers, ready for winter snow.
Went to Canadian Tire and bought the blue painters tape that I want to set up vision help for Germane
Took a very leisurely drive home in rush hour traffic. No problem; I went straight in the lane that I needed to be in, and listened to the radio
Walked to food truck to see if it is open: it is not. Must be closed for the season.
