Well now I'm home. That was fun. We did stuff for lasagna and enchiladas and someone did some scones. They weren't all the way done yet but a good way through. There's a lot of people sick though so that is tough.

Now what. I promptly came home and took my plants off the one shelf cause there were more dead leaves than I realized. Mostly cause I wanted to unwrap it from the curtain rod so I can put my garland up there. Now I need a better spot for the pathos long one. And a better pot. Maybe I have to treck to the shed see what I have. I can put the garland up there at least.

I think I need to stop and think a bit. I have no priorities except prep tomorrow meal and decorate somehow. I'm going to pull stuff apart and have a mess.

Ds is baking buns atm. I decide on the roast. It's huge so I think we'll cook it today and use some for supper tonight.

Dogged, laurlind - nice to see you
Waving to Peaches

LAnn - sorry to hear about your surgery. Thankful there was no lymph node involvement. Wishing you a quick recovery.
kittykatt and helia Thanks for asking. Dpup is all grown up - she turned into a loving/lovable dog once the adolescent craziness passed. She can still keep me on my toes but overall, she is doing well.

Of course, I had to go out... delivered stuff to DDIL (sick), did grocery shopping so I can cook for them and us...

Next:
flip laundry
mini walk with pup
prep veggies for (veggie) stew.

Hello, everyone!

Jist a quick CI as it's late and I'm in bed. It's been a reasonably productive day. The room by room progress went well until I reached the bedroom, and I was in there for well over an hour. There was a lot to PA, involving the steps. However that room is looking more respectable now, so I'm calling it a win. The sitting g room really wasn't too bad and neither was the kitchen, which was a relief.

I e taken lots of rubbish out, had a good chat with Dnextdoorneighbour C and managed a little session on my front garden. I think I may have managed to arrange for someone to come and hopefully fix the dining table on Thursday - it clashes a bit with Jude's appointment, but DH is WFH that day, so can answer the door and let then in, give them tea and coffee and.show them where the table is! I've made my mince pies and wrapped DF E's Christmas present ready for tomorrow with Matilda's help.

I'm glad that you had a good time, Lauralind.

I wish that I had a list of accomplishments to report, L.Ann, but I haven't finished anything that I started. I have done mind numbing paperwork which has made no visible difference. Then I started on a shelving unit that could be better organized and transferred the clutter all around me. There shall be progress, it just doesn't look like it yet. In the meantime, I have the dw running.

Hi, kitkat. It's good to see you.

Woo hoo on all that you got done, Kittykatt.

Hi doggedly. Yes there shall be progress. Your evening is a lot longer than mine.

I'm in the same place. Did stuff but doesn't look like it. Ds made pretzel buns. Looks like he did pretty well with a little needed practice forming them. Then for some reason he wanted cake. Layered cake. I told him to do that when I was here to help. He has a habit of doing something brand new with no supervision and then something goes wrong. Cake is easy once you have the method down but if you try to wing it,... well.... who knows.

So we have buns and a cake that we need to put together. I had a lovely snow walk with Casper just before dark . Made supper and stood up the Christmas tree.

Except I made an Italian sausage pasta dish. Tasted really good but now I have a bit of a gasy tummy. I'll get busy in the morning. Mostly cleaned up the baking. Dw is clean of the big dishes. Need to clean up supper and see if I can find some strength to see if I can loosen up dh back yet. He's almost worse than me I think.

I got a little shopping done,
delivered donation sweatshirts and warm sox to Salvation Army
a dozen cards addressed - have no idea about our regular list.
2 packages ready to mail, but the post office closed 5 minutes before I got there to mail them - will have to wait until Monday
Checked Cemetery - good thing - last snowstorm blew over the evergreen pots I had placed on Mother's, Father's, and husband's graves.
cleared patio snow at mother's house
talked to dbro and dsis3 by phone. dsis2 is busy helping at a fund raiser

Sunday is dbro birthday, and birthday of a df. I have to wrap her present and see her tomorrow-
after I do church
- and I have a short 'temple talk" to present on giving
- and a trip to an alpaca store after church to get 6 pairs of sox as gifts.

Time to get to bed so I don't oversleep for church!
