Gee, I've been trying to get a span of time to post all day and never was able.
Thoroughly enjoyed reading your posts.
The interesting progress today has been getting a lot of deliveries, plus then being able to wrap some gifts. I have 4 more wrapped today, and several ready to wrap, which is so much more effort than it sounds. First just having to find boxes, really. Basically, all needed boxes for one reason or another and I did eventually get that done well. Sort of made or re-made the largest one myself.
Tomorrow is a long day of appts. Got an email that I won't actually get one med that I thought would happen (yay), but I am used to "Oh, and one more thing," which is the joke I always tell on this place. It is the "oh and one more thing" building, so I know not to count on a shorter day. Thankfully we start at 9. Not good for dealing with morning commuter traffic and buses, but hopefully suggests we'll get home before dark.
We also need to go by the bank for some folding money to add to one grand's gift and a few more things.
Supposedly, we will have guests after we get home, so I won't have a chance at a nap. The gifts for that are wrapped and I even made bows for them.
There was one large package and so I needed the long roll of paper, and in getting it out the end that went behind me hit a volet and knocked it onto the floor, breaking about 5 leaves. I was super sad about that for a while but have given it an extra drink with food, so maybe it will be alright.
Wish I could respond to ya'll, but HRH is correctly telling me to set alarm and get some sleep.
Cousin sent an email about our grandmother - sweet, positive newspaper clipping from very late 1800s. Must share tomorrow... .. poof
