Thank you for starting us off, Kittykatt. I have happy memories of pigs in blankets. Ours were sausage rolled in pie crust.
Sending you strength and patience to deal with the chaos of this weekend.
Trissie, a slow cooker would fit so well into your life. I have the little one full of potato and carrot with no seasoning, just water, and the big one full with savoy cabbage, carrot, onion, rutabaga, and ground beef formed into rough ball shapes. To the water I added beef soup mix (like Bovril), some minced onion and minced garlic. Both cookers came out well, and Germane is enjoying the addition to her dog food. And you're a much better cook than I am; you won't have any trouble cooking in it. The main thing is that it cooks while you are busy with other things, and you are also much busier than I am, so a big plus for you.
Have a great time at the Christmas show, L.Ann.
Enjoy your exercise time with DD30, helia. trissie has good advice. It would be dreadful to invite the girls only to have them detained by ICE. Oh, I see that you are going to check with an immigration lawyer. That is definitely the safest thing to do, as they will have up to date information.
Why would we ignore you while you are sending us good cheer, Bama?
The winter lights festival sounds pretty, Smile*Lee.
WTG on catching the issue with the stain before it was too late.
WTG on progress on the fence, Kittykatt. It's nice to have someone who doesn't have to be chased to do what he said he was going to.
