Cook supper - start red cabbage early in low oven

7pm (earlier if possible) Christmas Eve supper -baked ham, mashed potato, carrots, broad beans, red cabbage, parsley sauce

Stockings first thing
Ask DH to lay table
Ensure bathroom is clean and tidy
Run a quick duster and hoover round hall and sitting room
Cook lunch - use timings in my book.

1pm lunch - roast beef, roast potatoes, roasted carrots and parsnips, gravy , Brussels sprouts, Yorkshire puddings, fresh fruit salad, cream
Take my apron off and relax!

LOL, you would have known better than to buy a houseplant hostess gift two weeks before Christmas, Kittykatt. I'm going to go out tonight and buy a different plant to offer as a hostess gift. If it gets all droopy, my hostess gift will be a funny story about plants!

I decided that this is the year that I will finally see Die Hard. I found it on a channel that I can get playing tonight. Once I come back, I will be mostly settled in to watch it. I can FACE while I watch. It won't really matter if I don't get the laundry done before Christmas. I have lots of other clothes to wear.

Went to home depot where I bought nothing but plants, but brought home more plants than I intended to.
Freed my delighted dog, who had not eaten all of the treat food that I had given her.
Offered her some Go! Which she ate.

After much scrolling, found that it is not scheduled until New Years Day. D’oh!
