LOL, trissie, the book found its audience after all.
You do a great job of keeping your DD33 active and involved, L.Ann. Good luck with the binders.
Hi, Bama!
Gma, it must have been very difficult to make progress with that much back and forth. Look at you sailing through the shredding and filing now!
I'm dressed and fed. I'll see if my db would like a phone visit next.

Re: Felicity Lemon Friday @ TDD - C&C
Just back w DH.
Gma - running back and forth takes up the day... And, paperwork IS the worst.
Dogged, I've had doggies with allergies... It's more and more common. What does that say about the food/environment...
From what I heard, chicken tends to be high on the list for allergies..
Our older doggies had to be hand fed. My last little one would only eat canned food from my hands... (and, I'm a vegetarian
) I know how frustrating it can be.
Next up:
lol
groceries
pup pick up

Re: Felicity Lemon Friday @ TDD - C&C
That's a lot of snow, trissie! And I'd say that shoveling counts as exercise.
Good thought about the trustee - maybe she is taking a longer holiday break. I haven't heard from her since Dec. 10. I'm just starting to feel anxious because I have had very few - and extremely short - emails from her since my mother passed away, and they were in reply to questions I'd posed. She didn't take care of a life ins. policy matter I sent to her in early December. The company mailed my brother the exact same letter and forms last week that they sent me in late November. He had no idea what to do with them. My mother passed away Sept. 14., almost 4 months ago. Even the lawyer contacted me in November saying she couldn't get ahold of the trustee for a certain time-sensitive matter. The trust now exists for the benefit of myself and dbro, but we are just completely in the dark as to what to expect.
You are very inspiring Gma. First, you found your kitchen table and now you've decluttered your desk! Glad you can finally focus on your own home.
L Ann, your yearly binders sound interesting to me as a way to keep papers organized. We just have yearly folders in our filing cabinet, but some of them end up being multi-year folders.
Our previous lab Maya had food allergies too, Doggedly. It also had to be GF for dd30 -- in case Maya licked her or she was exposed to the dog food, etc. I think it was some sort of Hill's prescription food that finally worked for her. It was quite expensive.
That's quite a list, Bama. How are you doing with it? Was dh talking to you?
You've got a lot going on today, kitkat. It looks like you were taking pics while on your walk!
I did just send an email to the paralegal at the legal office in Illinois that deals with my mom's estate. (Different from the trustee who is at a national bank in Kansas.) I was mailed a small-ish IRA distribution check in my mom's name in December. Should that still be happening? What does one do with a check issued to a deceased person? I think my POA is no longer active. I do have a bank account that still includes my mom's name. --I'm just voicing questions but not expecting answers here.
I DID go to the gym with both girls! It was good exercise - and fun to be with them. I ran on the track (without them) for 1.5 miles and then swam 2 laps in the lap pool with them. I then swam about the equivalent of another lap in the small warm pool. Then, we sat in the hot tub together and chatted for a while.
I showered at the gym and then went to Kroger to (1) recycle the 4 bags of plastic bags we've collected over the last few months and (2) get a few groceries. I didn't get home until almost 1:30 - and then I was starving but still needed to put everything away.
Next:
- some qt
- strip bed -- but M is doing a lol now
- get a load of sheets going soon
- progress on GGT? OR finish fun book?
Later:
- some qt
- strip bed
- load of sheets w d f pa
- remake MBR bed
- remake guest beds 1 2 3
- write 1 hour
- perhaps, meet dh at coffee shop?
- payroll: progress on GGT
- write 1 hour?
- snail mail bills
- email reply to the mother of niece's friend who might stay with us for 2 months in the fall
- foot Dr. appt.
- finish fun book
- declutter mom's knick knacks
- maybe, work on decluttering my closet
- dinner out with dh - Indian restaurant
- duolingo
- update health apps
- restart knitting project
TaDas!
- up; weighed self
- coffee
- email deletions (got distracted by a story); weather website
- ordered more coffee pods
- checked in with the girls
- spiffed myself
- reclaimed kitchen
- at payroll: started GGT spreadsheet - check S10 exams
- back exercises
- gather stuff for the gym
- gym: run 1.5 miles, swim 3 laps, hot tub with the girls
- s2s - at the gym
- Kroger: recycled the large collection of plastic bags
- Kroger: got a few groceries
- home; put groceries away
- lunch
- put away gym stuff
- finished moisturizing - face and feet (different creams)

Re: Felicity Lemon Friday @ TDD - C&C
Hello, everyone!
Trissie, shovelling snow definitely counts as exercise!
FFB, did you keep your power? I read that a lot of homes in France were without power due to the storm.
Helia, how frustrating about the trustee. I think Trissie's suggestion that she's on holiday is definitely likely.
That's a lot of errands, Bama!
Mmmm, croissants
are delicious, Dogged!
Did.you get any good pictures with your camera, KitKat?
L.Ann hopefully when you get those binders decluttered, you'll have a really good system in place!
Fortunately the rain stopped for a couple of hours, long enough for me to walk up the high street, drive home, and do a little in my front garden. Then the rain returned, with some hail, as a variation.
But, by then, I'd finished everything I needed to do outside. This afternoon I spent some time playing with my dolls house, giving the outside a good dusting and the windows a quick polish, and working out just how far I'd got with the renovations. I think I've worked out what I want to do with that second bedroom - it's probably going to be a music room, so the grand piano that I've been waiting to find a home for, will bee seen to its best advantage. At least that's today's idea. I may well have changed my mind by tomorrow!

Re: Felicity Lemon Friday @ TDD - C&C
I think that for me it is Going Down In Flames Friday, as everything I try isn't working out and needs to be set aside.
So true, kitkat. Luckily for me, Germane is still willing to eat from her plate, just not all the time.
How frustrating about the trustee, helia. Not a very trustworthy trustee!
That must have taken some doing to track down that food. '
That sounds like a great exercise outing.
Kittykatt, I'm glad that you were back inside when the hail started.
kitkat, I'm glad that you got a couple of photos done before the rain started.
Friday
Cleaned after dog X 2
Treats/breakfast for dog
Tried to give Germane her Benedryl. The salmon dog food that she currently loves is too watery, and it ended up soggy and on the floor.
Changed kitchen garbage
Picked through the backlog on the counter:
–Put cutlery in holder for dw to run later
–Put dog food cans that were drying out in recycling
Booked Germane’s grooming appointment
Dug through old files for the date of my last COVID vaccination
Dug through city’s web site to find how often it is recommended: no info
Found it in national govt’s web site
Tried to book with pharmacy that I want to go to: their web site does not work
Tried to book with pharmacy that I used to go to: their web site does not work
Tried to spiff myself. The water in the bathroom warms up to tepid at best.
Flossed
Treats for Germane.
Prepared a pot of coffee
Woo hoo! Got an update that the replacement projector is being shipped. No tracking info yet.
Called db for phone visit: not a good time. He will call back after his guest leaves.
Scrubbed out sink and basin.
Took one of Germane’s Benedryls, so somebody got a Benedryl today, LOL.
Washed a couple of basinsful of dishes
Put more in to soak
Phone visit with db
Tried to watch TV while getting supper ready: the PVR stopped in the middle of the episode. This means that it wasn’t recorded after that point.
Put on a different show from the PVR.

In the US at least Dogged there is a new fall Covid shot. Like the flu shot they seem to tweak it based on the strain. What I originally heard was that it was recommended more for those who are 65 and older or with compromised immune systems.

Re: Felicity Lemon Friday @ TDD - C&C
I had my COVID shot in September, my influenza vaccine just after Christmas. I like to separate them usually by 2 weeks. Less chance of a reaction when getting them 1 at a time. The scientists from major universities are telling us 1 thing, the government is telling us otherwise. The evidence I am aware of is that various infectious diseases have increased substantially as the rate of vaccination has diminished. I believe that people have forgotten how serious some infectious diseases can be, because they haven't been seen for a long time.
Meanwhile I'm continuing to clean up my office
