Enjoy the weather, Bama. We are happy to share, LOL. Up here it's enough that school buses are cancelled and they're telling us to stay home if we don't need to go out.

Thanks for the floral start, Kittykatt. I was surprised to see black-eyed susans as a wall-climbing flower, as here they are a daisy-like plant. Our black-eyed susans are Rudbeckia hirta and our brown-eyed susans are Rudbeckia triloba, and I, for one, have trouble telling them apart. I take it that this is like robins: yours are like sparrows, they eat seeds and are friendly; our are thrushes, they want to eat the worms from our lawns and hate to be bothered by us trying to be their friend.
I'm glad that your df's cabinet is sorted out.

helia, do you think that your dh will be able to help GB, or is this more sounding board and emotional support?

That's annoying, kitkat. There has to be a balance. The bank has caught the occasional fraud for me in time, "Why, no, I did not buy a sandwich in Los Angeles just before you called me in Ontario" but the PC Financial card would lock down my account every time I tried to use it, so I just don't.

Kittykatt, I'm glad that church was nice, even if it was cozier than expected.

Germane was eating so well that I slipped a Benedryl into her food, and she ate it. We’re back, baby!
Cleared out front entrance to access the laundry cart
Germane begging, went to give her more dog food, she hasn’t eaten the last glob I gave her. Showed it to her. She looked at me and said “I don’t eat that.” Well, we knew it was too good to last.
Spiffed self
Hung fleece throw in Germane’s pen
Re-sorted laundry to make dark darks load and delicates load
Tried to CUOP: board not working
Started two loads of laundry. Brought Germane for the outing.
Treats for Germane, who is eating again
Flipped laundry
Set up drying racks
Cleaned up after dog
Tried to sign into bank account: application still not working
Called bank. Got it sorted.
Did a little bit of updating budget sheet
Brought laundry back
Treat for Germane

Dogged - I think we are done for today with the snow... More (in the form of flurries) tomorrow. I am SO happy that I left my wipers up!

Does your little Germane like the snow? My older little dogs weren't too fond of it. My current pup loves playing in it but not too long,, which suits me just fine in -11 C....

What exercise video do you like to use, LAnn?

I'm clean:) and warm in my cozy jogging suit. Will spend some time by the fireplace reading b/4 I take out pup one more time then, it's time for bed.

Thanks, kitkat. Germane doesn't go out unless the weather is warm and the sidewalks are ploughed. We are both content to admire the weather through the window.

I have all of the laundry hung. Not sure what I will turn my attention to next.

I couldn’t get in to post so I couldn’t do anything. I don’t make the rules.

Meteorologist is calling for “snow showers” this weekend. Basically it’s rain but might have a snowflake in it. The name is a new one for me. I’m looking forward to it. Dh has an appointment tomorrow and I told him he’s on his own. I’m snuggling at home this weekend and enjoying the weather.

I couldn't get here earlier today. Now, it's 11 pm and I need to go to bed.

Doggedly, dh and BG are good friends. Yes, he supports him and is a sounding board sometimes; I think BG is getting past that hurt now; he did some counseling, which was helpful. It was his wife that had the brain tumor before Christmas, so he went through that. She's recovering at home now. Dh and BG get together every 2 weeks. Dh has always nurtured close friendships with other men. Not all men do that, I know. I'm very glad he does.

Of note today:
- the trustee got back to me! My short direct email to her yesterday per dh's instructions did the trick. She says she's doing stuff -- I think I'm not a squeaky wheel, so she doesn't keep up with me. And she's probably not the best communicator.
- I helped my friend SS this evening with her volunteer ESL class. I might do this weekly.
- I also met SS for coffee this morning!
- no major progress on house stuff, but the house isn't in crisis either. . .
- my NY cards arrived; the quality of the pics isn't that great, but I'll mail them anyway since I spent $$ on them.

I hope to be here tomorrow if the site up and running.
