Kittykatt, reading past posts while filling in planner and forgot to say I saw your post re the copper balls. Found some stainless steel ones online I might order if new scrub brush doesn’t reach/work. It won’t let me order from that link I guess bc I’m out of country. Thanks!

oh, that did make me smile, Bama! It's not that far in Texas miles, but here, well, Horni Becva is so far from Prague that if you literally drive another mile, you'll be in another country, SlovakiaBama wrote: Mon Jan 19, 2026 12:47 pm (((Trissie))) I hope for agreeable resolution at work.
There are people that update gravesite info here, not sure if that’s an international thing? but found my grandmother’s online info has been updated and her town of birth added. Horni Becva, not exactly near Prague like I’ve been told lol. Just thought it might make you smile.

Lol, trissie. It’s funny that I found out from a stranger online so I’m thankful for those that do the legwork and it’s nice to have a name. It looks very rural from what I can tell. No big cities nearby? Hope your day has gotten better.

Re: Modern Pentathlon Monday @ TDD - C&C
Hello, everyone!
Trissie, I'm sorry about the difficulty at work today.
L.Ann, you're very organised, and also very thoughtful!
Gma, I think you were wise to toss the out of date mayonnaise, even if it did appear to be ok. There's out of date, and there's out of date!
KitKat, DPup must be sleeping soundly now after her long walk!
I hope your time at the gym is both productive and enjoyable, Helia.
Bama, I would imagine that stainless steel balls would do a similar job to the copper ones -I've had mine for years.
Hi, Peaches!
Today was foggy for most of the day, but pleasantly mild. I managed a little in my tiny front garden, but everything was very soggy. However, I have made good progress on my kitchen, and cleaned out and decluttered another drawer. Upstairs is also clean and tidy, and now I'm relaxing with Matilda on my lap.

Re: Modern Pentathlon Monday @ TDD - C&C
It looks like I didn't post this last night. It applies again this afternoon:
Germane has been getting her exercise tonight, walking back and forth and in circles trying to get my attention to get fed. Her kibble bowl is full, she has wet food in her dish, I am not eating vegetables and rice so have no carrots to share, so she is out of luck.
Washed some dishes, most importantly the small slow cooker so that I can get some carrots and potato cooking for her.
Gave Germane a fresh plate with only the Go! in it and behold, she does eat wet food after all.
Keeper of the Treats is honoured among cats, Kittykatt, and smooths the path to redemption. I expect that you are forgiven by now.
WTG on researching the PT exercises, and finding that you are doing most of them already.
They have started selling death books online to help people get organized, L.Ann. My favourite title was something like "F, I'm dead. Now it's your problem."
Others have more diplomatic titles.
It's a great idea. I, for one, have my info scattered all over the place. And most of us would have trouble working it out on our own. I keep having to redo my budget sheet because I can't quite nail down what I am trying to track.
kitkat, at Germane's age she plays more games of strategy than Keep Away or Tag, LOL.
You are very welcome to the phrase, helia. And no, you don't have to accomplish. The whole idea is that you are getting other things done while you are dodging the Big Donwanna.
Woo hoo for a day with no appointments and no cooking!
I'm sorry for the issue at work, trissie, and hope that you can get it resolved without too much pain or drama.
I am like you, but with me it comes out as having trouble defending my boundaries. That was a huge problem for most of my life, but I have gotten better at it.
That is funny, Bama. It looks like you can't get any further from Prague without leaving Czechia. Maybe they meant closer to Prague than Alabama?
Lily is not content to be on the wrong side of every door. The door must pay!
I'll join you in the club of Not A Morning Person, Gma. I'm just gearing up now.
Gotta spill, L.Ann. What was the science experiment?
There is a huge cold air mass. It covers most of Canada (and Minnesota and Wisconsin), and most of Asia. Somehow it missed Western Canada and Alaska, and Europe. Somehow, you expect a polar vortex to slip down one side or the other, not just spread all over, LOL.
Monday
Made new Procrastaccomplishments list for the week
Updated Goals
Washed a couple of basinsful of dishes
Fed Germane
Wrote a review for projector
Watered a plant
Discovered where Germane had peed on the floor BEFORE stepping in it–win!
Cleaned up after dog
Checked if I can bring old phone to Best Buy for recycling: yes, my store does that
Covered the dw for the week
Restocked main room paper towels
Restocked TP
Wiped down rice cooker and put it away
Set up small slow cooker
Prepared a carrot and a few potatoes and started them cooking for Germane
Fed Germane. She got to sample her carrots and potatoes.
Spiffed self
Put away dry dishes
