Okey, that cottage roll has served its community well, and the slow cooker liner is soaking in the sink.

Re: Weasel Wednesday
I slept in late,
wasted time playing phone game apps
On the plus side, I did a DVD work out
I'm going to miss my exercise class because I have dawdled too long and I need to go check on dfBS. (She has named me her medical advocate as she has no family here. A half brother 2000 miles away, and a nephew on her late husband's side 2000 in another direction. ) I never expected this to grow into so much responsibility when someone asked me to please just take her home from the hospital (was it 1 or 2 years ago?) when she had no friends that felt competent to handle oxygen in the car.
I guess I'll go see how she is doing, then I'll be in the "city" so I can go to Walmart, Fleet Farm, and get a couple errands of my own done. She told me to use her car for trips to visit her. That's nice, good for her car to be used. 3 years old: 5,500 miles.
I need to load the dw
get the groceries that I didn't get yesterday
get dressed - it's kind of nice just to veg in my pj's
Go through my mail from my vacation and finish going through mother's as well.
We have supper, evening worship, and Bible study (Jeremiah) at church tonight.

Oh Gma Your dfriend is so lucky to have you (((((((())))))))))).
Waving to all other DSHEs.
I need to move:
Took pup out, included a half hour trail walk. Perfect place: they cleared the little road that leads there - no ice. She had fun with the snow on both sides. I was able to relax b/c there was no ice and no traffic. She needed it - I needed it. Store walks are great when there is nothing else but they don't offer those wonderful scents we find in nature.
Donation will have to wait - there was nobody there to receive it.
Bottles dropped off
picked up supplies at pet store.

Re: Weasel Wednesday
Running through but can't be very social. It's already 4:20, and I need to start prepping for dinner guests at 5 pm. I haven't been slacking today, but I've barely made a dent in my list. . .
Sounds like a great semester for ds, Lauralind!
trissie, I would have guessed that too, that English is easy in the beginning but more difficult as one progresses. Sometimes, it feels like we teach basic grammar rules in the early levels only to break-enlarge-modify them in upper level classes. English also has a massive vocabulary with a lot of borrowing from other languages and words with Germanic roots and Latin based roots. --Yes, watching happy Labrador retrievers is always a good distraction!!
That trail walk sounded great for you and pup, kitkat.
I need to refill my feeder today too, L Ann, but it's been a few days for us. Are you getting treatment this Friday? (Can't scroll back but sounds like it from others' comments.)
Happy errands and evening at church, Gma.
Yum, Doggedly!

Re: Weasel Wednesday
Well I am not getting lots of cleaning done. I had a really good meeting with h. And dad is ok today... and some music. Sheets need drying and kitchen got cleaned. I picked up a few groceries. No motivation for anything else. I'll go soon to see mom for a bit cause dad is going to stay away with the cold. I know what I should be doing just it's not happening. Oh well. Long as I know what supper is.

Re: Weasel Wednesday
I have showered and washed my hair. I think that I'll change my bedding before I call it quits.
helia, I hope that you are resting after a nice dinner.
(((L.Ann))) That's a lot, but if it keeps you healthy, it's worth it.
I think that you are dealing with plenty, Lauralind. The rest can wait for another day.
Wednesday
Physio exercise X 3
Put away dry dishes
Started filling rice cooker. Found soup mix with split peas and beans. Found quinoa, barley, and of course my lifetime supply of lentils that I bought from Costco.
Stabbed myself on twist tie.
Applied liquid bandage and CUOP.
Finished filling the slow cooker
Strained the slow cooker into it
Trimmed yesterday’s knife cut to avoid snagging
Set up Tubi account for projector and checked it out
Broke out the telescoping duster and did a more thorough dusting than usual
Swept
Washed floor
Showered/washed hair
Quick scrub of tub
Put down another mat for Germane's traction
