I don't have much to report. I went to lay down and listen to the radio, and fell into a deep sleep. Now I'm rebooting my day.

Hi, L.Ann. You are going to have some happy birds at the feeder.

trissie, updating that database is a worthwhile procrastaccomplishment.
With all of the languages that you have learnt, I would think that there are not too many people that you cannot communicate with. What a gift!
Boo hiss boo at the car's bad timing.

Gma, that is probably the best way to avoid problems with bugs in the flour. If you could have seen me taking things out of my freezer and tuning them on their sides or squeezing the bag contents into a different shape in order to cram them back into the freezer with the new groceries I brought home, you'd have a laugh. But you wouldn't get a bag of flour into that freezer.
I'm glad that your df's health is improving.

Woo hoo on clean floors, Bama.

I'm glad that the appointment went well, kitkat. Enjoy your lunch!

Thanks, helia. WTG on your shopping too, and a bit of a break on the bird feeding. Do you find that demand jumps when the temperature plunges?

I've made it to the end of Page 2, and I am weirdly tired again.

Bama I can dream of clean floors... Maybe by April?
Dogged
I've been feeling extra tired lately... Sometimes, it's OK to take a break.

I'm glad I did that walk. Had a nice cup of coffee, too... picked up some dinner ingredients on the way. Took a photo of the lake:) Decided against risking life and limb on the path and walked back on (clear) streets.
Off to get my pup.

Back from a jog. It was SO nice to jog outside! And a lot of people had the same idea! The path was busy with runners, walkers, and bikers - biking home from work, I think.

Dd30 is here cooking right now. I'm having a snack (apple) and then I'm going to set the table. I will try to s/s the main bathroom as well.

Doggedly, that's an interesting question! When it was super duper cold, the feeder got less traffic. Yesterday, was the busiest day yet - but it wasn't super cold. Today with the warming temps, it was quite busy - but less busy than yesterday. The feeder is about 1/3 full right now. Hope you can rest a bit.
Nice on the photo, kitkat! A walk, a lake, and coffee - that sounds like a pretty good day!
L Ann, are you refilling the bird feeders daily?

Next:
- make bed
- s/s main bathroom
- help set the table

Later:
- make bed
- NY cards - can I finish?
- s/s main bathroom
- tidy living areas
- writing time
- 6:30 - ? host dinner crew
- duolingo
- update health apps

TaDas!
- up; weighed
- coffee
- email deletions + weather website
- reclaimed kitchen
- NY cards in mail
- s2s and self care
- 10:30 - 12:30 KS2J get together
- snack before meeting
- 1-2 payroll: S2 start up mtg
- payroll: texts re social issue
- finished lunch
- after lunch clean up
- scheduled inspection with the gas co.
- finished moisturizing
- back exercises
- dressed to jog
- Jogged at park!

That sounds like a nice walk down to the lake, kitkat. Maybe it's winter that makes us want to hibernate?

Does an early dinner mean extra reading time for you, L.Ann?

helia, it's nice that so many people were able to get out in the good weather.
I wonder if the birds have warm enough nests to hide out in the really cold weather. I was reading that they need extra calories on the cold days, so I was anticipating that they would eat more, not less.

Wtg, friends!

Dogged, I ended up napping as well. Great minds think alike.

Helia, glad you enjoyed your jog. That’s an interesting tidbit about the birds not eating on colder days, I can’t blame them for not wanting to leave a warm nest if that’s the case.

Wtg, LAnn.

Kitkat, the lake view sounds nice. I imagine your floors get wet now with the weather?

Trissie, that’s so true about learning in our own way, a good teacher will try to figure out how to teach as many students as possible. My high school was basically cliques, so the teachers would gear their lessons toward the popular group (football players and cheerleaders), so an introvert like me wasn’t noticed.

Dh filled the bird feeders yesterday and I refilled them today. I guess birds are migrating back north slowly? I’m seeing a lot of birds that I don’t usually see which is nice. The bare crepe myrtle was FULL of male cardinals. A beautiful sight. I took a photo but they don’t show up nearly as vividly as they are in real life.

Dailies are done
Walked the dogs
Fed all pets inside and outside and gave them fresh water
Played ball with Beau
Cooking supper now and filling in habit calendar, trying to move more
Dealt with mail
Deleted emails
Shopped online, World Market has some beautiful stained glass items so I got some :) (treat yo’self!)

Bama, I had a few duds for teachers but not many. Overall, I have plenty to be grateful for in my teachers.

My KVM switch has arrived! I don't think that I have the oomph to set it up tonight. I'm just happy that there will be no issues with delivery.

KVM switch? Is that like a Nintendo switch or something different?
