Paigealle so nice to "see" you . It's been too long!
Another animal lover in our midst:) Not sure if I'd start up with a feral cat... but, having said that, DH had a group of them once upon a time behind his workplace. They gathered there b/c they got fed.

helia if I ever figure out how to post a photo/video, I'll show you... She uses her nose. And, is very proud of herself

Dogged - I'll be more impressed if she plays the recorder  .

LAnn - painting is SO satisfying. :D

It's miserable out. I was hoping all the rain would wash away the snow...
We went to 3 stores with Dpup. She was VERY good. I had no issues with other dogs passing us . She took notice but that was the end of it. Huge progress in the last 6 months. She is really tired now. (So am I) DGD joined us in the second store, so we drove to the bookstore together and had some quality time there:) I drove her home after.

Grabbing a coffee,
then
powder room SW/SW
main bathroom SW/SW
shower SW/SW

(apparently, we are in the bathroom zone? )

Given that I failed to master the recorder in third grade, so would I, kitkat!

WTG on the snow clearing, Paiegealle. Even when it's easy, it's not easy.

With her nose?! That's amazing, kitkat! So glad she's proud of herself! She should be. :D
Enjoy painting with Little Bit, L Ann.
Maybe those will become spring projects, Paige. 🌸 But if you're still doing snow removal, it sounds like spring is still far off. I have a lot of emails to delete too. One of my accounts stopped downloading them (and also apparently forwarding them to the account I use regularly), so I have to go in and get rid of them.
Who is Captain Canada, Doggedly?

I need to be ready to go in 25 minutes. Ergh. More I'd like to get done - but won't.

I just called the bank in Illinois, and the info I got from this person was different from the info I got from the first person. I can't deposit that check into my Mom's account because the POA is no longer active, although they don't have a copy of the death certificate. Kind of crazy because the check is an IRA distribution from another account at the same bank. I'm not trying to take the money -- just put it back into an account for the trust. SO, I need to mail them a copy of the DC (why didn't the trustee do that?) and then we'll see what can be done. Kind of annoying - I'm trying to do the right thing -- but ultimately, it's not really my circus anymore. . . So why am I still doing stuff?? Also, insurance didn't cover my mammogram. The tech had checked with me before using a higher tech procedure that insurance might not cover. I OK-ed it. Still, annoying. First world problems. :x :)

Next:
- lol to dryer
- make bed
- spiff myself

Later:
- some qt
- back exercises
- make bedt
- writing time
- lol 1 w d f pa
- lol 2 w d f pa
- declutter Mom's things? (1 small bag)
- other things?
- dinner out -- in big city?
- 7:30 Blue Man Group concert
- duolingo
- update health apps
- read for fun

TaDas!
- up late; weighed in - higher -- I've noticed I'm consistently higher the day after I do my work out with AS; I wonder if my muscles are a bit swollen?
- coffee
- email deletions
- researched restaurants near the theater
- made a reservation for 6 pm
- reclaimed kitchen
- gathered everything and otd late
- gym: swimming
- s2s and self care
- home; lunch
- after lunch clean up
- payroll: GGT emails
- payroll: updated timesheet
- load of darks: washed
- paid mammogram bill -- which insurance didn't cover at all?? Slightly irritating but I OK-ed a different more in depth procedure that they said might not be covered by insurance.
- called bank in IL --> more for me to do :?

Hello everyone!

Trissie, the sauce looks tasty and very warming. Sorry about the inconsiderate co worker with Friday afternoon questions.

Helia, I did manage to cut Fred's nails - it takes some planning, as I have to give him a gabapentin capsule 90 minutes or so before I plan to do the cutting. But, by trial and error I've got it down to a fine art. I sprinkle the capsule over 1/4 of a pouch of the GI wet food that Freddie really likes. When Freddie is nice and relaxed, I spoon the rest of the food onto a plate, put it near the edge of the kitchen table, and out Fred on my lap. I can then quickly get round his nails while he enjoys his "treat" ( gabapentin also gives him the munchies, so he's concentrating on eating rather than growling and biting me. )I also gave him a good brush, especially the back of his neck, where he finds it hard to groom himself, and also applied his flea control. I've decided after all that, that the Girls can wait until tomorrow for their Mani-pedi. They're pretty cooperative, but I've had enough for one day! :D

Painting with Little Bit sounds fun, L Ann!

KitKat, I'm impressed by DPup's excellent behaviour! :D

I'm glad Caspar is feeling better, Laura -he sounds beautiful! (Freddie weighs around 5.6 kg and could do with losing a little weight, but I'm not going to be the one to try and tell him!)

Good to "see" you, Paige!

Dogged, the new internet sounds very frustrating. Fingers crossed the engineer's visit is successful!

This morning I had a quick run round the house to tidy up a bit, then chatted with DF CW again. Then I had a productive time in my garden - trimmed a few bits on the hedge, weeded and gave the pots and bulbs their weekly feed. After lunch I went.for a walk and braved the valley park, which wasn't too muddy. When I got back home I cut Fred's nails and then sewed a little on my tablecloth. I'm now sitting on the sofa with Matilda on my lap.

Captain Canada was a comic book character like Superman, helia. I've never actually seen the comic books. It's more referred to, than read.
That is so frustrating to have to do the trustee's work.

Kittykatt, it sounds like you have had a full and enjoyable free day. And you can face tomorrow without Freddie's grooming hanging over you.

L.Ann, the kitchen clean up is patient and will be there when you are ready for it. :D

I love your words of wisdom Dogged :D
I might avoid kitchen clean up as well, LAnn - I want to finish my book:) (Mitch Albom)
Kittykatt - I don't trust my eyes with my pup's nails. Good thing you can do the kitties'!
Curious: what did you do with the pears, Paigealle?

Bathrooms look good
Washed the outside of my washer and dryer
fed ddog
took her out - she did it ALL :)

I'm off -
thanks for keeping me going!
Have a great night everyone!
