The tech has found the issue, which was not even on my floor let alone at my end, and corrected it, and my modem looks the way that it is supposed to. I haven't set up wifi yet. That can be an evening activity.

I see that the grocery store across the street has pork chops on sale for 50 cents/pound less than chicken, so I am leaning toward a quick run to the grocery store.

Hmmm... I would have been happy for a Canadian win too, Paige and Doggedly. I guess there's a pretty strong ice hockey rivalry between our 2 countries, but I'm not really into sports.
Thanks Doggedly! The BD celebration will be fun because we'll make it fun. I'm sure dd27's cake will be marvelous! I brought 3 round cake pans to the gym to hand over to her on Friday. That sounded promising! Glad the tech found the problem!
Nice you could have coffee with dfriend E and work in your garden, Kitty. I'm impressed you remembered R. Dh usually gets coffee with him every Friday afternoon, but he still wasn't feeling 100% on Friday, 2 days ago. I'm hoping to see him tonight.

How DO you get hard water stains out of toilet bowls, Paige? We have a toilet with some rust-colored build up. Once in a while I attack it, but it never fully disappears.

It's been snowing lightly here most of the day after we got about an inch last night. Maybe 2 inches total? Not much.

Yay for fixed internet, Dogged. Have a fun celebration, helian. School has been canceled but the center that DD33 goes to hasn’t called yet. I still need to get up early because I won’t know if I need to get Little Bit until we see how bad the roads are.

It is a banner day at the Dogged household. Somehow, I escaped the grocery store for under $70. I even bought meat for tonight, for a little stew for Germane, and for the freezer, 10 lbs of potatoes and 5 lbs of carrots. In these days of crazy prices, I caught a break.

I feel like it must be ratings week, as I watched Total Recall last night, and tonight Dune is on.

I never got back here...
After our walk, I took a little break and napped for a half hour. Then, Dkids came by with DGkids:). Gave away some DC stuff they could use:)
I went outside to play with pup briefly, then, we watched a basketball game. I took down some laundry in the meanwhile. Washed doggie blanket, pup's mattress covers. Then, ran a Sanitize cycle. Cleaned pup's crate and remade her mattress. Took her out for a mini walk just to stretch our legs.
(It's mild outside).
Made a quick dinner for ourself (totally improvised: green beans with tofu and kimchi) and fed pup her dinner with added steamed green beans. Apparently, good for dogs.
I had a nice hot bath, took her out one more time and I'm ready for my book. (Another Christmas gift: Mother Mary Comes To Me.)
