helia the waterbirds were out in numbers. I had pup lie down on the grass. She did... then started crawling towards the lake. She had to sniff EVERYTHING. Spring is in the air.

trissie I had a tough one about a year ago... that is why I'm asking Dkids for someone else. I like deep massage but this fellow was a torturer  .

Walk - done
leaves/branches blown off deck. (there will be more to it...)
Laundry down
lol fpa/lol adv/started.

Taking a bit of a break while pup is fast asleep on her bed. (Spring air did the trick)

then:
clean front door
sweep porch
garb/rec

Wtg! :D 👍

Are possums pests?
I guess it depends on who you ask. Some say they’re clean, eat ticks and bugs from your yard, are harmless, I remember one she had a pet possum…
We still have ticks and bugs in our yard, they killed over 100 chickens of ours, ate eggs from nests, and idk if they carry disease or not so to us they’re pretty much pests. I’d be fine with them if we didn’t have the turkey so when he goes the traps will go away and they can live happily ever after.

That’s a little weird about the “guests”. Say hi or something. 👋

That sounds fun for you and dpup, kitkat! Gotta smell those smells. :) I see you're going on another walk. It's really mild weather here, maybe nice where you are too.
That's a lot of musicals, L Ann. And some great ones!
LOL Bama! Yes, "Hi" guests. I'd guess many of them are bots; I just had some trouble getting here so I wonder if they're clogging the connections? I don't think of possums as pets, but I'm sure someone in this world does.

I got in my jog. The arb paths still had some snow and ice on them in spots and other spots were muddy, so it was slow going - but I went. The paths up the hill were clear, but I didn't get to the top. I went to Kroger but forgot to bring all the recyclable bags so that bin is still very full. I gassed the car en route home so we can drive to and from the airport without worry.

It is almost 4:30. I'm going to start a load of darks, s2s, and get the bedroom spiffed. I might start prepping items to pack - figuring out toiletries and charging my fitbit and running watch.

Main Goals for Today:
- Exercise: a jog -- maybe try the arb hill?
- Payroll Exam Prep: Finish 1 exam; send all of them out for review - only my own is left
- Kroger - quick stop by or do an order
- laundry: 2 loads clothes; 1 load towels?? wip: Lights w d f pa
- writing time
- If I can get to it, clean sheets on the bed
- start packing
- maybe refill bird feeder - today or tomorrow (needs to be done before we leave)
- early dinner with dh: vinegar and olive chicken (from freezer), rice, green salad

Next:
- get darks washing
- s2s and self care
- squeegee and wipe down shower

TaDas!
- up; weighed self - a tad lower
- coffee
- email deletions + weather website
- some qt
- back exercises
- dress to jog
- kitchen tidy
- payroll: reviewed and sent out LBBR and AIR exams for review
- payroll: put together AIL Exam and sent it out for review
- payroll: got my own AR Exam set up; I'm going to do some major changes. Too many of one sort of question.
- lunch
- after lunch clean up
- duolingo
- lights: washed and drying; folded AND p/a
- gathered stuff
- jog
- Kroger
- gassed car
- brought bins and mail back to the house
- put groceries away
- yogurt and berries

We go on our trip the first part of August, kitkat.

Helia, I always forget about bots. Scram, Sam! (bots)

LAnn, it’s so good to support the high school arts.

Updating my list while I eat some sunflower seeds.

Added: Okey, now I have done my errands, taken Germane out for a carry in this beautiful weather, and am ready to sit down and rest.

I have to dig up the post that didn't go through, but it's on the other computer. D'oh!

[Me, looking at leaves growing out of a broadband box: "Huh! Free flowers, and I didn't have to do anything for them." Goes on my merry way...] This is how we know that I am not a gardener at heart, LOL, Kittykatt.

Hi, trissie. We completely understand about being too busy with house and dkids to drop in. Any time that you have time, you are welcome. Did your DH have an explanation for why he hadn't gotten the dkids to do their homework?

What a beautiful day, kitkat. We are supposed to get up to 3C here today, and sun at the same time. Spring is on the way, says every Canadian who forgets that we have to get through False Spring, Third Winter, Spring Of Deception, Winter Of Despair, Zombie Dog Poop Spring, Spring Of Faint Hope, Victoria Day, and then finally Actual Spring We Very Probably Maybe Won't Freeze Your Bedding Plants If You Plant Them Now Spring.

That sounds like a fun outing for your DD, L.Ann. :)

Have a good time in the garden, Kittykatt.

Okey, I am at the end of Page 1, CUOP in my PJs with my morning coffee, so time to get something done. I have wet paper towels soaking Germane's artwork that she did on the tiles at the entrance because the ten pee pads laid on the floor were not to her liking. Goal # 2 is to call the bank because I tested my debit card's PIN# at the pet food store last night, and I have definitely forgotten it. I have used it for years, too. Very confusing.
[Posting didn't go through]

Wednesday
Cleaned up after dog. Left wet paper towels on what I could get off of the floor.
Breakfast for Germane, who today wants only broth. Maybe some rice in the broth. Maybe not.
Called bank because I forgot my PIN#. I now have two hours to get to their bank machine to input a new one.
Misc paperwork
Checked bank balance and transferred money over
Charged my tire inflator
Spiffed self
Set up Germane’s pen
Tried to lure her into it with treats. She watched, then turned her back and went back to her bed in the bathroom. I guess she learned her lesson yesterday.
Left her loose in the apartment
Went to bank
Changed pin successfully
Remembered to deposit my OAS cheque
Checked tires and topped one up
Went to Canadian Tire. Bought what I went for, aaaaand went right on shopping.
Brought it all up to apartment
Woke up Germane and took her outside for a carry
Wiped down her eyes and paws
Treats for Germane
