trissie, yes, we use GF pasta - though sometimes I wonder. Dd30 isn't here that often anymore. . . We like this brand "Jovial" that uses brown rice. I like the lentil sort too but dh doesn't. He's pretty picky about his food.
kitkat, I met with my personal trainer yesterday so no jog. I don't think I'll do that today either since I feel mildly under the weather. I'll go for a 5K jog tomorrow. Sorry you had to postpone a chat with your friend again. Hoping it can happen on Monday.
Now as I'm catching up - I'm literally laughing out loud. trissie, I'll pass on icicle panties too! Egads! Canada IS pretty far north and can be quite cold in the winter, as we've read here. However, I'm glad that's not what kitkat was talking about.

I'm glad that the leak is fixed kitkat, but the future sounds ominous.
It turns out that Ottawa has been bumped up to Zone 5, so it seems that the icicle pansies are hardy enough for here too.
Coffee is one of those things that you don't want to leave to chance. Better to make it yourself and be done with it.

Oh, that is frustrating to have to wait in the cold, trissie. But now you can move into your weekend--without icicles.

I felt similarly this morning. I could have squeezed in a class, but felt it was wiser to do it gradually. Last week I was unable to move: this week I did 3 classes plus our daily long walks with ddog...
GF pasta: I can understand DH... I love Tinkyada's rice pasta. The problem with them: they are good fresh, only.

Dogged I hope it's not insane... I already had a (different) water issue in this house... Frustrating.

Well, I did my homework:
washer is 13 years old. I think we need to get a new one. (I have a very honest repairman, and he recommended that at the last repair... )
For now:
I need a hot bath
then cook a little for our dinner next week (I can freeze)

I've been sweeping and washing the floor, and just worked out how to get Global TV on my projector and TV, so will be adding them.

I' m tired today, made a box of brownies, and have eaten way too many of them! I guess that's what I needed to keep going on accounting (and that's why I am a nurse, not an accountant )

Finished loading my checks into my accounting program for the whole year.
- now need to gathersome other information, but that should not take too long, so long as i get to it!
Then I need to go through basic stuff for mother, as myu dsis who always does Mom's taxes can't get here before the deadline. We can file an extension, but may need to pay something in to avoid a penalty. At least they can't put Mom in jail!

No kidding, Dogged! I felt bad about calling for advice on a Friday night, so I texted. He called me within 5 minutes and spent the time explaining the difference between old top loaders and new ones AND different models of front loaders. Furthermore, he encouraged me to call him when I go out to shop... How nice is that? He only did work for me twice...
So true about coffee! (My fav. beverage)

Well, now I don't dare leave Germane to go to the basement. I had the handtruck loaded when Germane came flopping out of the bathroom. She was reeling around on her side trying to get up but couldn't. I picked her up so that she wouldn't keep struggling, and she pooped. I gave her a treat and now she's back to walking around normally, but I don't want to step away from her. She just panics when this happens.
