Cathy, my mom does that a lot — just drives to the office to make an appointment (or asks me to do it). I’m probably even closer than you — LOL — it sounds like we use the same doctor! I’m definitely not more than 29 minutes away. I may do as you said, just go by tomorrow and ask for the rx in person!
Speaking of dmom, almost immediately after I posted, I got a call from Life Alert. She had fallen. She had a knot on her head but did not want to go to the ER. I helped her get up and cleaned up the apple pie filling she had spilled.
Told her this why she should move closer to me.
She said she would think about it.
Then I had a panic attack — what if she lived out here? She might start calling on me 24/7. She might just give up her independence totally if I were close by. Sigh. Then I felt like such a terrible person.
Ds and ddil say there is no need to even think about it because she isn’t moving.
I decided to just pray for God to guide her (and us) to know when she does need to make a change. Sigh.
Home from softball. Got beat 15-5, Dgd had one strike out and one walk, and was left on 3rd base when the umpire called the game. He said it was impossible for us to win. They have a 6 run per inning rule. Well, yes, it was impossible, but it was impossible before we started to bat. We wanted to see if Dgd could score, but… whatever.
I have towels in the dryer, small load of whites in the washer and I am tired.
