Bama , could you just get a takeaway for when DD and her BF come to lunch? That would remove a lot of the stress.

Dogged, is the medical centre within walking/ easy driving distance ,.so you could just turn up in person? Waiting with bates breath to hear what happens when you turn on the computer!

Harriet, I realised I had forgotten to include strawberries in my grocery order, but I was able to pick up some English ones From M&S food hall, which was probably better, as I could ensure they were English and also ripe!

We had a lovely service today, followed by chat over coffee. The rain held off long enough for me to hoover the car, go to the library, pick up cash for MJ from the bank, and buy strawberries and a reduced chicken from M&S food hall.

When I got home, Freddie commandeered my lap, but I have mended my cardigan (not on the list, but needed doing !) unpacked the groceries when they arrived and everyone has been fed. I've also finally photographed the foot stool we don't use, and advertised it on the free section of Nextdoor.

If it's dry ( forecast is for ) tackle ground cover in front garden. I have an empty garden bin that needs filling!

It's the same medical centre as my last doctor was in, Kittykatt, so no further than I am used to. There's one suburb between us, so an easy drive.
When I turned the computer on, it loaded properly and I just had to enter my password and my wifi password. Performed perfectly. So different from what I am used to with Windows, LOL. It is recognizing the monitor, the mouse and the keyboard, all through the switch box, so I can't ask for better than that. In fact, I'm writing you from the new computer.
It sounds like you had an all-around good day today.

The day got away from me… My sister came down to measure my large back door window. She is going to make a stained glass piece to frame it which should be lovely.

I have washed my hair but for some reason I got out of the shower with my knee not working, so I'll sit here for a bit. Germane has found her appetite, so I have been giving her spoonfuls of dog food in her dish.

It should be stunning, dogged. She is going to do a meadow scene with grasses, flowers and an animal in each corner. Then it will have flowers going up each side and the top will be sky with maybe a butterfly or bird.

I have the cold groceries put away. I think that I am going to turn in unusually early.
