Lauralind - the social component is VERY important ... You know that, otherwise, there would not be a dilemma.
Can he do one course online - the rest in school? (My DD did that at one point ) Just a thought.

helia those highlights sound good.

This is how far I got - my alarm is calling.

Hello everyone !

Trissie, being a single parent is hard, whether it's temporary or not. My DF CW describes herself as a "non- single mother" (her DH has a progressive terminal illness and is in a home) and watching all she goes through with just one child (G13 y0) gives me an idea of what single Parents have to put up with.

L.Ann, LOL at Little Bit saying it wasn't cooking! Still learning to.chop properly is a useful skill.

KitKat, I'm glad your finger is improving. There's still a bit of a scab on the bite, but it's all clean, and I'm letting it come off by itself.

Laura, are most of DS's friends from sports / hobbies/ church, or from school? If the former, then online school may well suit him better, if it's the latter then it's more complicated - maybe in that case he could do a mixture of online schooling amd in person school?

FFB, if you're uncertain about the results from hair due, would you consider a semi permanent or demi permanent colour to begin with? Both wash out after several washes, so there isn't the commitment of a permanent colour, and also no issues with regrowth. In case you're confused, semi-permanent colour is a direct dye with no developer, offering soft, temporary tone that typically fades in 10 to 12 washes.
Demi-permanent colour uses a low-volume developer for richer deposit, longer-lasting results (typically around 18 to 24 washes) and gentle grey blending.

Helia, that's a lot of entertaining! I totally understand not wanting yet more piled on you on Monday. I hope you enjoy the tea!

It's been a productive day. Biggest Tada, I've cut Freddie's nails, without bloodshed. (The vet has given a "little something" to give him an hour or so beforehand, to make him relaxed and more compliant!) He's also had a good brush and his flea control. I've fixed the wonky airer (thank you, hammer and screwdriver!) tidied up, run the hoover round and taken all the recycling modem to the wheelie bin. I did manage a session in my front garden in between showers.

Hi, all. I am here to take the evening shift, as per Kittykatt's SHEM, LOL. I don't have much to report. I have taken Germane out for her walk yesterday and today, I sat out in the fresh breeze to cool off this morning, and I ran the dw last night. Today's big project is to start on the patio doors. If it starts raining, I will adjust and work around that. Tomorrow I have a concert in the early afternoon, so I will show up late again.
