We have been eating on the fly but bringing food from home instead of eating junk food as dd younger has lessons almost every day depending on the weather. today I think we will pick up something healthy but fast from a store local to the neighborhood we will be in. Yesterday: tomato mozzarella salad, pasta salad, beet salad
day before sandwiches with tapenade, arugula, tomato, a touch of salt/pepper.

Crock pot cooking.
I made some
egg custard in the
crock pot it turned out pretty well. I made up
crustless spinach quiche we had in a wrap that was a hit.
Bread pudding I made in the
crock pot vanished very quickly!
Cobbler I cooked in the
crock pot the dgds were competing who got to use the eggs and help make stuff up so it was fun.
What I learned was the cobbler should have been in the bigger crock pot, the custard needed to be mixed more.
Crustless spinach quiche was a surprise that it was such a hit. In a wrap the carb counting is better and the family liked it that way but it was a bit watery b/c I did not put flour in it.
Next we will have egg salad in a wrap, or tuna salad.
I've been keeping track of my recipes in my journal for my blog.
We had crab louie's for dinner.

Went to the farmer's market. So tonight we are having stewed squash, honeydew melon, sliced tomatoes (good ones!), and egg rolls from the freezer. Sounds good to me!
