spoke to dear kat of a better life with Kat. It always helps me by clarifying my week or month ahead. I am able to take my thoughts and put it on paper without over-goaling. most times

put to next week:
paint the arbor (repair first) over the week- weather permitting
cut the dead branch on the birch (ordered a company to do that)
scrub wash collecting areas - use my power washer
check the pool for wasps
mouse guy comes over
continue weeding 15 minutes a day
continue work on rose 15 minutes a day no weekends. (it should be done by mid week) both


house: vacuum under empty spot under stairs and put d girls keeps sakes (mine our out) away - with dd youngers toward the front so I can continue decluttering it.

set up colonoscopy appointment
set up mammogram appointment
blood test

Bathroom zone: clean showers/tub
declutter area as well again - any extra stuff - let it go (signing)
clean windows again (easier bc I did it last time)
clean wood work
look at lights for the powder room - think of hiring an electrician

calls: furnace company to check a/c and rust

time with aunt
time outdoors

garage
change tires on dh's bike and on garden wagon
blow up other basketball and give to neighbour kids

future - put a protector around sump pump so cats can't get into it.
seal fence of holes so wasps can't get into it.
repair wood on 3 season room outside
sand cabinet in girls bathroom, use primer and paint.
wash doors again
hire someone to fix our windows.
hang up bunting (flags) on windows - think about it

future zones for me:
may 20th week: bedrooms
may 27 front room/family room/3 season room
june 1 front door/front hall.

the following is raising chickens on paper.

Main focus: get back to 1" of paper a day - fell off that habit and I am paying for it.

I won't be working on my bedroom for the zone. I want to focus in on the garden. I was going to work on the 3 season room but dd younger will be in town and I can see things being up in the air.

This next week - zone: garden (hopeful goals) (hope thunder boomers stay away (and down pours)
I have minimized my ideas for the garden.
step by step (no more)

I can't keep up with the kitchen (zone work once a month isn't enough right now - sun shows everything plus animals are shedding) so I am putting kitchen zone work during the week - I know it's a no no but it needs doing.

wash the door trim in kitchen
wash microwave
wash tile (it's gross)

Laundry room: wash the door inside and out from laundry room to garage

garage: wash the disgusting door from garage to garden. (done last fall)

My basic weekly plan for May 20 - May 27 is up in the air. ZONE: GARDEN (depends on rain)

MONDAY: Home blessing (I am not sure what I will get done... driving dd younger downtown and then dropping her off at dd older's apartment - she will be staying there today, tuesday, and home on wednesday.
phone calls: dd neurologist, dd dentist, me dentist, bank

TUESDAY: declutter day:
I would like to vacuum under stairs and have girls put their keepsakes in that area. Eventually I will scan dd youngers art work and put it in a book instead of having tons of little pieces. I have to go through it again and whittle down the papers. I want the girls to put their keepsake boxes under the stairs

WEDNESDAY: bill and paperwork day: continue working on health appointments
call someone to fix our windows again.

THURSDAY: Mom's birthday
Errand day: pick up the 2 screens from the hardware store.

FRIDAY: going sailing! if all works out weather wise.

SATURDAY: a play. (fingers crossed that everyone stays healthy)

SUNDAY: PEACE

MONDAY: MEMORIAL DAY/NO HOME BLESSING skip it.

31 - FRIDAY: MOUSE/HOUSE PEOPLE COME OVER TO FIX MOUSE HOLES - CHIMNEY SWEEPS COME IN..
JUNE 1 - SATURDAY BASEMENT PEOPLE COME TO REPAIR THE WALLS IN BASEMENT AND SEAL.
2 - SUNDAY: PLANNING DAY, ME DAY, D FAMILY DAY

I had to simplify my week bc I was overthinking - simplify!
I had my big list of garden work that needs doing overwhelmed/confused me. i tried crossing things off but the large list for the summer utterly stopped me in my tracks. (looking at the mountain and thinking I had to do it all at once)

I pulled a few things for the garden
and pulled 4 things (no more than 15 minutes- fingers crossed) from the kitchen zone.

zone work pulled for this week:

kitchen cleaning ladies did
surface cabinet fronts
microwave inside and out
windows (they are still clean from the major cleaning in april)
clean doors

garden did 5 hours work multiple days
I cut the bushes down with sawsall and dh removed the dead bush I cut to the curb
finish planting (and don't forget to water daily in the am until water drip system comes in the mail). continued did a lot
wood chips on flower bed did some
paint the 2 windows in family room outside.
pool replace outtake valve
plant in veg garden more to do

Monday: outdoors - wood chips, pick up aunt and take her to lunch and to the store, phone calls (too cold to paint), bills/paperwork
Tuesday: take donations in, rain choice: cabinet fronts no rain: outside work planting and weeding veg garden
Wednesday: errands
Thursday: mom comes home so it's a bit up in the air from here, outside work or inside zone: microwave
(i have to talk to mom and see how she sees summer?) I am hoping she gets involved in her condo stuff. she has a beautiful apartment.
Friday: up in the air - outside work or inside zone - windows (easy job now) and clean doors.
Saturday: ?
Sunday?

I am basing this week on the weather and the appointments for d mom etc.

24 th Monday: dog vet, worked on 3 season room - bought a steamer for the brick floor - wonderful!
25 th Tuesday: downtown mom/aunt - poo l, dailies , paperwork ,
26 th wednesday - sun and hot: home,mouse people,pool wash- I got quite a few of the the windows in three season room done.

spoke to dearest kat. I have to plan ahead - I am over doing with others and need to have me time for this summer.

27 th Thursday-rain : meet cousin in am..(be kind). . family meeting: mom, brother, uncle - foundation MISSED - DH WENT TO ER- spray the screens that I pulled - wash more windows

bring things downstairs (dd youngers) stuff is still in the kitchen (ready to go downstairs). (I still haven't vacuumed under the stairs).

28th friday: far far away cemetery dad - 2 hours away near brothers house. it looks like rain and if that is the case then ? dh comes withIT'S OFF FOR NOW. DH FELL SO I HAVE TO STAY HOME.

29th Saturday: holocaust survivor (denmark) talk at holocaust museum with d mom
30th Sunday: mom church - early.
