Tuesday: bought a turkey breast already made and cooked that in the oven, made potato casserole, my carrots and parsnips stunk bc I used plastic wrap that melted as a bought a new kind.

Wednesday: nothing... and that feels good to say that

I just put together a lasagna for tonight. The "oven ready" noodles seemed to take about half the work out of that! This is the first time I've used them. We'll have cantaloupe on the side and an applesauce cake for dessert. The cake is cooking now and smells so good!

sounds great.. I always wanted to try those noodles for lasagna! great Elly.

I found something too that works without boiling the lasagna noodles - you take noodles and put in a 9 x 13 pan and pour boiling water over them... I moved it in a few minutes so they wouldn't stick and let sit for 20 to 30 minutes.

yesterday: we had company and dd younger made her mini cheeseburgers, I had brats and grilled chicken to cook and pre-made salads. Big mistake - trying to be fancy... I took the salads out of the containers and put them in bowls... what a mess to clean up.

tonight: tomato soup, left overs
