I finished the work in that block I'd mistakenly thought was finished
. And then unpinned that and pinned one border section. So, yes it's progress, but not that I can record.
I wanted to do more, but my hands are not approving. I switched my watch to the other wrist, to see if that helps. Other than that, though, I did feel better today than yesterday and walked the whole supermarket, pharmacy and parking lot to get errands done.
Yep, Nancy, I'm also convinced it is very good for our brains to have creative puzzles to figure out. You are doing great with successes.
It is so tempting to work on something more forgiving for a while, like a small UFO, but I really need to get this done and off my machine table. If I set it to the side, it will be so much harder to get back into the swing.
Another reason to keep on with the machine quilting is that I don't want to have to change thread so much. I could hem those pants but they are navy, so that won't work with white cotton thread, lol! They are new and at least I have already gotten them washed up for hemming, so it's a good incentive to finish with what really has to have the white thread. Then I can switch and get them hemmed before putting this project together.
